Complete random question but do any of you legends have an AAN code they can share with me to get early access to tickets? I am based in NQ and have been an Eels fan for 40 years! I have B&G Army access at 1 but was hoping a ticketed member could help a brother out?

I've always said he needs to make the prelim. He stays next year. Contract doesn't get renewed unless he wins a premiership.

Mate I have seen it all in that time! I can't stand the Cowboys. I have never been to the new stadium to watch them, only NSW, the Wallabies, All Blacks etc. I want to walk into that stadium with my whole family decked out in eels gear, and look them smug pricks in the eye and say "Not today!".

Hopefully its the yellow/gold jersey. Won't be blue due to clash with cowboys.

I am not fan of the white we are Blue & Gold not Blue & White that's the bulldogs.

Well we never play the white kit at home, so our loss percentage is a lot higher wearing them

Pretty sure we have had some great away wins in them also

They could have put our blue/gold stripes on the shoulders of those jeresey at least

Dave Riccio on SEN reckons Opacic unlikely this week. Hamstring isn't bad and will probably be right for GF day.

But this week probably not enough time.

BA likely to move Marata to centres and bring either Carty or Nrown onto the bench.

Simmonson unlikely to play as they don't want to move Waqa back into the centres.

I personally think Bailey would be a better utility on the bench covers FB, Wing & Centres. And if the halves go down Gutho moves to the halves and Bailey to FB.

Hope things don't go the same way as the last prelim v the Cows when we "rested" someone expecting them to be right for GF day.... Yikes!!

I got pissed after Boncos loss but I see it as:
1. Lose this week - next year on here will basically be a rinse and repeat of this season. If we have a 2018 style start though, BA will be replaced.
2. Win this week, lose next week - next year things will start a bit more buoyantly on here, but a bad start and we’ll be in same position as above. If we have consistent season, BA will get full season as renewal application (realistically would need final 4, possibly GF to demand it).
3. Premiers - BA writes his own contract. And Jrthur’s too.

You have to go back to 2019 when we played them last in Townsville and we wore yellow. 2018 we wore blue in JT's last match.

We always seem to play really well in the dark jerseys. Maybe we psychologically start to think we’re the prime hey day Melbourne Storm?
