Stupid f**ken team IMO. Wishart shoulda got a wing spot ahead of Hancock. Brasher shoulda been fullback ahead of Lockyer.

Yeah I was surprised about the team, they should name a bench.

Lockyer was good, but didnt really dominate till 1998, same with Webcke.

Harragon, Brasher, Mullins, Renouf and Wishart were unlucky to miss out.

Thanks for tellen me the team guys.
This is what i reckon it should be.

1.Tim Brasher (Lockyers is more a 2000 player)
2.Mat Rogers (Need a Goal Kicker and Rogers is good enough to play in the team. If not then Steve Renouf.)
3.Mal Meninga
4.Laurie Daley
5.Andrew Ettingshausen(E.Ts better then Hancock)
6.Brad Fittler
7.Allan Langer/Ricky Stuart (There equal. I dont know who should be there. Anyone of them would be fine)
8.Glen Lazurus
9.Steve Walters.
10.Paul Harrigon (Webcke is more a 2000 player, not 90's)
11.Gordon Tallis
12.Paul Sirronen
13.Brad Clyde
There should be a bench, so here it is.
14.Geoff Toovey
15.Matthew Johns
16.Mark Carroll
17.David Gillespie

Coach:Bob Fulton
Captain:Mal Meninga

go the sharks...
Renouf is number 3/4...not a 2 or 5. The last time Renouf played on the wings was prob in his early days in 1991. Ever since then he has been the pearl of centres.

Daley at centre with Freddy at 5/8. That settles it. ;-)

settles nothing
daley was a top class centre and a world class 5/8th, Fittler was an average centre and world class 5/8th, thats why daley is at centre ;-)

1. Brasher
2. Mullins (i know his a fullback but he was one of the most exciting players of that time)
3. Meninga
4. Renouf
5. E.T
6. Daley (Fittler was a hoax and even he admitted on nrl on fox last week he didnt deserve the Aust no 6 jersey or the captaincy during super league)
7. Stuart
8.Lazurus
9. Walters
10. Harrigan
11. Tallis
12. Siro
13. Fittler

Lockyer at FB is an absolute joke btw. It proves that he is very much a media darling. I mean no doubt that he is a great player but he did next to f**k all in the 90's when compared to Tim Brasher or even Brett Mullins.

What were the selectors on?

What's your point? Anyone who thinks Lockyer did more in the 90's than Mullins is an idiot...or a selector of the team of the 90's apparently :?
