The problem won't be the pack, at least not initially.

We'll do what we have done for the past 5 weeks or so, compete well in the middle, either get some domination or reach a stalemate. Then the opposition will start going wide, find lots of metres, some tries, and then the team will give up across the park and it's party time for the opposition.

Sadly thats an excellent summation of the last few weeks. I think part of the reason they fold is that once the opposition start going wide and shredding our shithouse backline defence the forwards have to backpeddle, and that gasses them out (which would happen to any pack), then they get shredded too.

Bulldogs by 50!

TBH if we keep them to less than 50 I'll take that as a win for the week :(

Sione is back replacing Hurrell, man McBaldy loves the Lousi c**k we are going to record a really big lose

WTF? Is Koni injured or is Cappy putting him in the doghouse over the social media stuff? A bit pointless and late for that.

Does anyone remember a decent game this guy had? I don't. Apparently he played all but 2 games in 2012, maybe he's never recovered.

I remember a few where he's looked busy and useful, but never really dominant. f**k, even Epelahame Lauaki had a couple of games where he actually looked like a genuinely dangerous forward, he destroyed Manly at Brookie in one game (admittedly when Manly were still pretty crap)

All that matter is 1st Grade no matter where you are on the table

I couldn't care less if we won the NSWRL Cup and Under 20's

We all should be focused on finishing 1st Grade on a high despite our position

Great title to the thread, The Bard?

Doyle may have missed a marketing coup today. He should announce at the game that all Warriors fans in their colours should get a year's free club membership (or something else befitting their loyalty). It's the least he could do considering the circumstances.

It's also cold and wet.

Funnily enough I thought exactly the same thing today. Lauaki was also incredible in that 31-all classic v the Roosters in 2007. Lousi, is never in the best 4-5 players.

And Wheeled is right, you pick Konrad in NRL unless you decide he's not up to it - which they decided he was by naming him on Tuesday. And why name him on Tuesday only to drop him? Mind games with the Dogs or Mounties (ha, please)? Or just a flip-flopping coach who 'in hindsight probably made another mistake'?

Was Thompson married at the time? I don't even know if he is married now.

I'm interested to know who the spectators were. I don't get that at all...

But all in all, I don't see the story here. Not particularly tasteful, but all consensual?

I don't get it either , hoping we haven't left a contract lying around for him to sign but wouldn't be surprised if we did.
