Tui wont play. He's names on the wing for ISP. For his development. he should go to a different club and make a fist of 5/8 which is his best position. He should have never been tried as a winger and now hes all outta sorts.

Happy to see Manu back. Tui is such a conundrum but I'd probably still have him in the team in the centres with Fus on the wing and Ken dropped. Tui is found out at the back, but is a solid playmaker and can help feed tries out to Fus. With the team named Tui is simply cover for RTS if he goes down, he won't be on the bench.

Will be curious what they do with Ata when Foran is back - bench utility maybe? He is good enough to demand a spot, just not sure where really.

Excited to see how Abbey goes - he has looked ok in reserve games I've seen but not the same level as his 20s form. If history is anything to go by he will have the game of his life of course.

Brad Abbey was one player I rated and didnt want let go. But with Tompkins and such ahead of him, you can understand why. A more complete fullback than Sleimankel coming through...I mean he actually had a FB game, not just a freak try scorer.

I have no problem with the side named at all (apart from the ongoing Sipley thing).

Tui's attitude looks like it absolutely stinks, and with all the off-field crap taking photos at Suncorp, his manager saying he wouldn't be at the club if Foran was signed at 6 etc I'm completely comfortable with him dropping down. I still maintain McFudd f**ked him around badly, but we're at a point where he doesn't have a position at NRL level where he's actually at FG standard.

I agree with all of this- but what signs have we actually seen that Tui's attitude stinks? How do we, looking from the outside, assess a player's attitude?

He is 50 games into his career. Do you think he would be a better player if he had played just the one position for those 50?
Also, there was this big rush to play him at FG "somewhere in the team" where maybe if he had spent a full season in NSW cup like Ata, he would have been better off?

Our big question over Tui was, and still is, what is his future? What is the plan for him? If he is a winger, play him there...give him an extended stay in one position (whether in FG or ISP) and have him vie for a spot with other wingers.

one of my mates at work his younger brother is also making his debut for the dogs against us. marcelo montoya a little whippet type winger with some gas, questionable in defence though. the whole family (fijian) are super proud. im proud for my mate to. hes marking manu who im hoping will welcome him to first grade by tearing him a new ass
