You know Townsend has now managed 0 tries, 2 assists and 1 linebreak in his last 11 games? That's disgraceful. I would quite seriously pick any player on the roster (who might be here next year) in front of him, half or not (Bunty for halfback!
). He had a very good first half of the year, but has completely switched off and he's gone next season so there is absolutely no point in continuing to pick him - he's bringing nothing.

Didn't consider guys rumoured or confirmed to be off at end of season with exception of Tomkins, who can actually bring something to the team now, and Friend because our only other fit hooking option is also leaving - and both have clear replacements coming in so no need for guys to trial for those spots next year (Lousi, Ika, Bhana, Palavi, Townsend, Abbey, Allwood, Havili, Peyroux)
EDIT: Actually yeah, looking at the two posts below I like the idea of Maumalo off the bench. Interesting. Changed it.
