It is just f**ken stupid isn't it. The thing that gets me is that this has happened multiple times this season plus we let Koro go to keep Richards who is basically a slow old winger.

Surely there were other options. Can someone officially confirm if we can use any more players with the second-tier cap?

The thing with the second tier cap is, if you can field a team with top 25 players, then you must attempt to do so.

The second tier cap has forced this onto Potter.

Having Rowe pull out didn't help either.

I'm more confused as to why Simona and Lawrence weren't on the wings and Paterson and Akoula in the centres.

well the club seemingly wanted Potter gone. The injury toll has now seen the side roll out these inept, tired and weak performances, all but ensuring those who wanted Potter gone, get what they want.

It's sad that some people involved with the club are happy about these results, albeit secretly.

Regardless i thought Lawrence may of been moved to the left side to plug our defence and Paterson moved to the right opposite T Rex and Morris who seemed restricted.

Every week during this miserable run, we are playing flatter & flatter & consequently, having more & more handling errors.

I'm sick of passes to unsuspecting players running as decoys just as the ball carrir hits the defensive line.

And why are there so many passes going behind the centres, especially Lawrence.

Is it really the 2nd tier salary cap ? Why was Koro let go ? Why did we buy Richards ?

I think our no 1 issue is slow wingers. Nofo is a good player but his defense is ordinary. Richards defense is just as bad plus he will not score tries out of nothing. Once these two are gone though we seem to have nothing.

In stating that I though Hitchcox went really well. Obviously he can be played because he is ? Why wasn't he chosen on multiple occasions prior to getting his chance when instead Potter played Thompson and Akaoula in the outside backs. Maybe Akaoula is a decent option in the centres but he isn't a winger.

Honestly the poor team selections have to come down to Potter and the defending of him in regards to this point is bizarre.

I have no issues with Potter staying but his selections are becoming Sheens like.

I would hardly call Nofoaluma slow. But you are right, the lack of pace out wide cripples us.

I would consider moving Simona to the wing, but then we need two centres. The problem is we have not and will not buy anyone next year so we are stuck with what we have.

Its our no 1 issue at the moment. It should also be looked at properly because we let a flyer in Koro go and we bought an old slow winger in Richards.

This is poor recruitment and retention that needs to be dealt with.
