Can't be overconfident here. Dragons beat Souffs (be it without Latrell, Walker and Murray, but still they beat them. I just wanna win, not worry about points differential. 1 point will be fine. Hunt will try and play I'm sure.

A bit of a test against a team with best player/leader looking to get out of club. Need to weather first 20min emotion and then hopefully like Raiders game run over the top of them.

So is Ali still injured from his hamstring injury? Cant fathom Wiliame making the reserves list over him. I would have even have taken Ali over Berry. Berry had plenty of opportunities last year and this year to cement a spot. Doesnt seem like the build required for an NRL centre.
Rocco Berry is good. Problem with the some of the fans out there is that they haven't seen his best qualities yet. He got pushed way too fast during the Covid pandemic and was forced to play first grade a little too early.

Rocco's qualities many haven't seen yet are his defensive reads, tackling technique (one of the best in our backs) and has some speed to burn - coming from his Fullback playing.

Fair assessment with your concerns about his build. Berry is a little more slender / small for the average centre. However hearing Webby state what he brings to the team has me excited more than I felt with Berry in 2021/2022.
2023 he was starting to fit in before being concussed.
Lets give the bloke a chance to grow.

Ali Leiataua is out with a hamstring strain.

Glass is definitely half full with Berry coming back and getting an opportunity to get that much needed NRL experience.

Good news Kosi returning and playing cup.

More good news with Metcalf getting another game to show what he can do before Te Maire Martin returns.

Barnett will probably benefit from the extra week off to really give his neck the time to settle after its first blasting from NRL games.

Then of course we have one of our best players in Walker back.

Thins are well and truly looking up for the Warriors.

Not worried about the Dragons, but not expecting a win, these adversity games for our opponents often turn into serious ambushes, have to tread carefully here Warriors.

If you look at table and draw. This game is more critical than you think. Given who we play in the next few weeks. Rabbits, Eels, Sharks and Raiders. That is easily a 0 point run if they don't hit the mark. Last 5 games (plus draw) are a possible 10-12 points.

weve already beaten two of them away. If we can’t go at least 2/4 of that sequence we don’t deserve to be taken seriously.

SpaceMonkey, you're a warriors supporter, surely you don't take any win for granted? I still don't take the team seriously to protect my mental health. Sharks and I guess Canberra are the only teams that we've beat that are higher on the table. I really see the dragons as a banana skin game....but to be fair, I see every game negatively.....

I do the same.
I never count chickens in the NRL out of respect for what this thing actually is. A competition where every club aims up against sides they have had the wood on mentally is a thing in the NRL.
The Dragons might not be having their best year, but they would have earmarked this game as one of their best chances of having a good outing. They have all that history of taking it too us...one thing is certain, before kick off they will hold zero fear of us.

As a Warriors fan, I go into every match mentally prepared for a loss tbh

Hard to know whether the Hunt drama will work for or against them.
