Team v Eels. Change a winning team or not

Expecting a big game from the eels halves this week with the talk of them wanting Mitchell Moses for the rest of the year.

Gutherson and Norman might want to put in a good performance to secure their positions.

Hopefully Foran steps up again this week and has a massive one against his old team

Why does tomorrow's game feel like, by far, the most important one we've had so far this season?

Or could this be applied before any of the last five?

My view is that this one's the most crucial to date. Sure, we wanted a winning start, at last, in rd 1. Being competitive against the Storm was a biggie, we needed to beat the Dogs for a number of reasons, but didn't. Our first off-shore game was a disaster, and we were desperate against the Titans at home.

This one v the Eels, however, will show us whether we can build on the positives of last week - including having our halves from heaven and some effective, aggresive forward play - or it'll show us we're going nowhere, like usual.

The opposition is perfect for the above proposition. The Eels fancy themselves (with merit) and are as keen to shake off their long list of failures (or underachievement, whichever way you want to put it) as we are.

The Eels have lost three in a row too, so they'll be more than a little desperate to get their season back on track.

Bevan French is out. Now someone get the Corey Norman voodoo doll out and break it's legs.

Eels have another guy (like Vaughan) that was off contract last year and we should have signed... Siosaia Vave. Preparing to get reamed in the middle again. Hopefully we get enough parity to allow the spine to go to work.

TBF though I don't think the Eels have quite got their pack rotation/selection in place yet... hopefully they don't hit their stride against us.
