Sao was injured, that is correct, head knock...and then he came back to the ISP no one knows why he has fallen foul of selection, but bank on there being a reason,
I wish he was playing but I back the coaches over the players these days because the results favor us when the preferred players are available and doing their jobs...the game plan is a winner.
Gavet has been a little off his stride, I would put that down to his injury enforced lay off,..Paasi was the same till he got at couple of runs under his belt, now he is the raging bull.
If Lino is out we are at crisis point...and that will ensure a coach like Kearney will make as little changes as possible.,,,people like Hiku for example are even more likely to stay on.
We started off ok with Lawton and Paasi on the field...,dummy half service was not flash but still good enough for us to look a chance up front.
With Beale I hope the club holds its nerve and gives him every ISP minute he needs...because he is going to be a big part of our campaign.
If you are going to risk anyone...thrash any of the recouping players...that would be Ayshford...but again I prefer the club stick to its guns around player welfare...that is the only way they are going to build and maintain this harmonious culture.
When Lisone comes on we are in a bit of a pickle, we are already over our quota of people that can be baby sat or hidden in the line.
But again we have gone all in on these guys and poured probably too many hours into them being well versed in the game plan to throw them away too easily.
Who goes to the Halves if we do have a crisis situation ?
Lawton or Haris or Hiku ?
I favor Harris because he is such a smart footballer and sound distributor.
Lawton you need keeping Jazz's time at hooker to a minimum.
Hiku on the other hand I don't have fond memories of his role filling in for thae Kiwis at half in desperate times.
Decisions decisions....poor Stephen I don't envy him the current situation one little bit.
