Heres the team I would pick 2 play the Eels

1. David Seage
2. Timana Tahu
3. Matthew Gidley
4. Russell Richardson
5. George Carmont
6. Kurt Gidley
7. Andrew Johns (c)
8. Josh Perry
9. Danny Buderus
10. Adam Woolnough
11. Steve Simpson
12. Daniel Abraham
13. Ben Kennedy

14. Matt Parsons
15. Matthew Kennedy
16. Steve Witt
17. Todd Lowrie

I really hope they go with Witt this week, to see him play against the Eels at Parra stadium would be awesome! Give him a chance, I mean Ennis had a chance today and didnt impress really, a high shot. Im not saying he is a bad player but I would give Witt the chance 2 show Hags he has what it takes.

You're right that Ennis doesn't deserve to be retained after today, but he could cop a week suspension anyway. I don't like your chances of having Witt on the bench. There's a couple of people ahead of him at the moment. Quinn only pulled out officially toward the end of last week, so he'll try to get in this week which would put him in a position to move straight into his place.

Then there's a case for him to start over Richardson who could move back to the bench or into reserve grade for another forward.

I'd go for a similar team, maybe ennis infront of witt. He deserves another go. i mean it was only his 2nd 1st grade game.

Not sure I'd want Witt on the bench when he can really only play halfback or five eighth. Maybe another big forward? Who is playing well in Premier League?

Craig Hall is due back Round 3 right? There is your other replacement.
Hall played premier league this week and injured himself again. Price also played and picked up a new injury.

Ennis is bigger this year. They are talking of him playing lock or second row if needed. I think that makes him a perfect bench man - he could nearly play anywhere on the field except prop.

Have to agree that Ennis was dissapointing, I'd give him another crack at it. Hall on last reports will be out for 3 weeks. If Quinn is fit then yes he could start off the bench.

price is perpetually injured, which is a shame he played well off the bench against the cows rd 26 when he broke his cheek
