#14...super sub..Last night reinforced my belief that CHT is not a half, but he is a good player who you want on the field somewhere

Yeah I'm an MGT fan from what I've seen. Definitely a better bet than Pompey on the wing. I'm happy with Pompey at centre but there's better options when he's pushed out
#14...super sub..
yeh i was going to make that point too. If hes not playing 80 is it Clark who goes to dummy half? Because who is going to 6 if CHT goes there? CNK to 6, Taupiki to 1, Berry to the wing and Capewell to centre again? Seems like too much of a disruption if its not Clark. But then you lose Clarks punch from his runs... I would have dropped Afoa or Laban and either retained TMM or promoted Healey.Yeah, I guess the downside with Healey is that he is (I think) a hooker only. Egan is a very good hooker, but I heard Webster say that he's can't play 80 minutes every week. CHT can provide some versatility.
Interestingly, we have no cover for Egan in our side this week.
And this is why I wish Montoya was still around - is he elite level? No, but he’s better than what we’ve have currently. As a winger he’s a bit like Pompey as a centre, a reliable journeyman who is capable of pulling off a big play from time to time.yeah, Pompey is a squad player and a centre who isn’t there if we have Berry and Leiataua. Not sure he is our best option as a replacement on the wing, but here we are
I'd love to see Healey but I now don't think it's worthwhile, given Egan is playing so well. Egan's D last week was the most impressive. 45 tackles, two misses against a hard-running side like the Broncos. He's been right back in form this year. Wouldn't like to see Clark go to hooker, he's too valuable coming off the back fence.
Honestly, I have no ideaSo the question is... If Egan can't do 80, who would you see fill in?
9 Egan, 14 Healey, give him a 15/20 minute burst and tell him to run his socks off.
He is currently propping the scrum in NSW CupLooking forward to seeing when Healey gets unleashed. Hopefully it's not too far away!
Wouldn't be surprised if ole Lussick decides to head elsewhere
You know we are going to lose don’t you - sorryWebster says he may not start 1-13 as picked and might shuffle around.....Not sure what that means. Who covers 1/2s? Capewell into centre, Taupiki to wing and CNK to halves? Capewell will be the solution for 1 to 7 by slotting into centres with Tuapiki, CNK floating around. But what if Capewell gets injured?
Can Leka play centres? Clark to play some hooker or CHT only fill in there?
Really miss Walker in the squad I think. At the start of the season we had him and Tohu. Not quite as flexible.
I'm that bloke who keeps going back to that unfaithful girlfriend. After Melbourne I was going to wash my hands of this season. Now I am keen as for the weekend. Hope Friday night, I'm not walking home pissed, kicking stones....
Skills and Drills down at my local club with the Warriors tonight. The boy has been fizzing for it all week. They are 35mins late, so only there for 5mins of the drills, and send 2 players lol, bit of a letdown. At least 1 of them was Fish
We’re 5th and playing the side running 14th, can we quit with the negativity for a bit? The team is going well, enjoy it while it lasts instead of death riding them. Last start we beat the side who just put the cleaners through the comp leaders, and we did it with a worse side than we’ll roll out tomorrow. You know we are going to lose don’t you - sorry
We've got the same referee that wouldnt bin Jarome Luai and was the catalyst for the whole high tackle crackdown. Since then hes been handing sinbins out like candy.
