Week 1 of the comp and a massive gap opens up on the haves and have nots of the comp. No prizes for guessing hat we are in the have nots. This season is going to be painful. All those new supporters who are going to be let down and disillusioned. I'm not sure I can watch this train wreck. Least I'm not a Para supporter but.

If TMM not picked in halves, I'm boycotting watching
In defence of Parrramatta they played one of the best sides and were miss their best player…. We weren’t….

They still had Brown though, wonder whether his perceived value gets a reality check

Same 22 as last week.

Laban omitted again. What has he done wrong, I wonder?
Didn't someone say he was injured for Vegas? But then he played NSW Cup, so maybe not.

There's no way Webster will drop Capewell, nor Niukore. I hope he's tough enough to say to them, last week was shithouse and you're offering us nothing. Bar up.

No surprises there's no changes, it would have been worse had there been. That would show the coach has no confidence in what he's planned for 6 months. But if the massive cracks are still visible 3-4 weeks in, he's going to have to come up with a new idea

Yeah, agreed.

I just hope he doesn't play Ford in the middle again. I mean, of course he will, but I can hope, right?

We all hope. Isn't it amazing how a coach can see it so differently? I mean he's far more knowledgeable than me, but I think 16 clubs would say hey yeah, play Jackson Ford in the middle, we're happy with facing that.

I'm not sure there has been any planning, let alone 6 months?
The trials never really showed CHT and Metcalf as the dominate halves combo.
My issue is the accountability side of it all.
There was no accountability at all for some very poor performances. The culture needed changing, but this still seems to be a free ride for some players and a can't make the top side of others, barr injury.

Manly by plenty at halftime.

I can't believe Webster was NRL coach of the year in 2023 after taking the Warriors from 15th to a preliminary final. What will he get if he takes them back to 15th this year?
