At least this is on the same time as the All Blacks game, hopefully a more enjoyable game to watch. I'll try and find a set up with both screens on I guess...

The hate for Havilli is weird. I've thought he has been pretty decent, well decent as you can be in sporadic 10 minute stints and sometimes not even getting off the bench. Hell he set up a try for a team which has scored 20 points in 3 games effectively since Johnson went down.

He hasn't grown at all. He has been given chances and never took them. It amazes me that we waste a spot on the bench when Friend is better for 80 anyways

Yeah he had a lucky try assist and all but he;s checked out and needs to FO

What do you exactly like about him besides the above?

That's the thing though - he's not. Isolating Friend's later years, he gets a noticeable boost in per minute stats (qualitative rather than quantative) when NOT playing 80 minutes. As it is, his full 80 minute performances are (on a per minute basis) under that of Havili's per minute performance. His under 80 minute figures are a little higher than Havili. You can expect higher overall team output by sharing the role. Just because Friend CAN play 80, doesn't mean he should - and while Havili isn't a great solution, he's kind of the only one right now (Roache not available?).

Because as I said I think he has been decent in the weird role that he has been given. By all means questions McFaddens use of a bench but I don't think it's exactly truthful that Havilli has been bad or a 'plodder' when he finally does get his small stints on the field. Ran the ball solidly, maybe I've missed some notable defensive lapses? Actually set something up out of dummyhalf. I'm not sure what people are expecting from a bench hooker for 10-15 minutes a game when he probably has no idea if he will actually get on the park, or when.

If Kata plays, I'm not watching. It's as simple as that. Ray Charles can see he's cooked, and Ray Charles is blind and dead.

With Manu sure to be out we have to bring in one of Hurrell/Fish without even considering changes elsewhere.

At this point we don't have a good solution from within the squad. Just a bunch of shit ones that we have to pick out of.

The way hes been in interviews, he doesn't seem want to debut anyone too young, so this could be reshuffling the retreads yet again this week

I see the sense in that, there might be as much to lose as gain by playing anyone in the last 4 matches where we might get belted. And who's ready? I don't think Lino is, Sigley we'd rather hold back, then guys like Palavi if he's leaving there's no point.

So it'll be last week's team pretty much. Is there any word on whether Matulino is up for suspension?

The bad news for everyone wanting to clock off early (including me) is that it's not quite that easy.

With four rounds to go we're actually still in the race for a finals spot. Our draw is OK, the Bulldogs and Manly have some awkward games. If they drop a few and we learn how to win again then it might be interesting.

I've lost my mind somewhat but I'm not all born-again evangelical, just stating fact. It could come down to the last round vs Bulldogs.

What is certain is we have to roll the also rans on Saturday.

Our best forward down the toilet, laughable though because his shoulder charge was deliberate.
Clearly zero f*cks are being given by half the squad right now.

I find it laughable that Kane Evans launched the most ridiculously blatant shoulder charge on Kasiano - when the laws clearly forbade it - and got a slap on the wrist, and now because the NRL's hierarchy are knee-jerking nitwits they've decided to get hard on it and Ben might get a four-week skate. I could care less, I know our season isn't officially over but we all know it is. If it wasn't, it would be a disgrace. And even more hilariously, the refs saw it in full view, didn't penalise or report it then finally decided to at halftime. Our game is truly run by fools (not our club, our game).

We're a chance against the Panthers. If only for the fact Ivan has no chance of knowing what we'll do given we're absolutely unrecognisable from the decent outfit he used to coach. And his side lost one of the most dreary crap-fests of all time last weekend.

Oh well, if Matulino is banned for 4 weeks due to the NRL being idiots letting Evans off then he'll be raring to go for the Kiwis, and to tell the truth I care about 1000% more for what happens with the Kiwis at the moment than the Warriors.
