As Vicious said simon - we just don't get to pick the sides and Sheensy has persisted with the likes of Patto etc - plus elevating Lima - Viane etc before even giving Jamie a look-in to the training squad while he has been the more consistent and solid performer than any of them in the longer term!!!

Not my choice - but I can read the writing on the wall for Smally!!!

Sadly so can I

I initially thought it must have been concerns about his size that has held him back but given that most of our forwards aren't much bigger I don't know what else he can possibly do.

I still hope to see him given a shot at first grade at some point but I'm getting pretty certain it won't happen. If he doesn't get a go this year I hope he does move on to a club that will offer him a shot 'cause as much as I'd hate to lose him from Balmain he's just too good to never even get a shot at proving himself.

As I said a few days ago - Kerr would be playing reserve grade this week.

You dont drop a player (Marshall) because he has one bad game. Kerr was back-up for Prince and will get more chances during Origin.

TO be honest i dont think Marshall had a bad game, he made a glaring mistake with a pass and one real poor kick but for me that doesnt necessairly constitute a bad game, yeah he wasnt at his best infact well off it but to say he had a bad game would be harsh.

No surprises in that team really, Like insaneo said, Kerr was always going to be a back up to prince. Who do you think Sheens has long term plans for? Kerr or Marshall?? you have your answer there as to why Marshall is preferred to kerr. Good to Heigho on the bench, he's been great for Balmain in recent weeks and its of little surprise he's been named on the bench this week.

Fulton will drop off which is a shame because i was very happy with his game last week........i guess its the joys of having depth this season. Mears i believe is of more use coming from the bench, you saw that when he came on last week, he caused the bulldogs all problems simply because they struggled to cope with a new dummy half off the bench.
