Wouldn't put Konrad in for Fus or Kata anyway. Manu and Hoff would get their spots back but RFM and Lolo are doing a great job.

Will be interesting to see Fus up against a good opposite this week. That guy playing for Melbourne was deadset awful.

Why was Ken Maumalo kept in NSW Cup for the Storm game once Manu was out injured? I thought he'd had a couple of good games leading up to the bye week. Unsure what he did wrong to get dropped? Sure Wright had a reasonable game just gone but in my books Wright doesn't offer what Ken does.

Presuming both Manu and Hurrell out this week, my back line this week would be:
Tomkins
Lolohea
Fusitua
Kata
Maumalo
Townsend
Johnson

I assume that's what is happening - Vete spent a little time in NSW cup earlier in the year also I believe (Gubb also, of course). Not a bad strategy with young developing props, if you've got enough talented depth to pull it off. Promotes good competition too.. these guys have to be feeling that while they definitely have a legitimate shot at FG, they must play well to get there AND stay there.

Yeah I hope that's what's happening, with the backs too. Maumalo had his turn and went well, now it's Fus's shot. Pretty sure that was probably the plan for Lolo and Kata too but form, suspensions and injuries have meant those two have played most games.

I like that Lousi has played his way back in as well. He's big, fast and is a good ball player. If he could add some controlled mongrel in there somewhere, he'd be near on unstoppable. I hope he's seen what Marty Taupau has become in the last 18 months since he's joined the Tigs.

I like Lousi, I've expected him to suck right from his debut but he always puts in a solid performance.

Yeah it's funny I think a lot of us expected Sione to be another borderline NSW Cup level player and that Sam was the one with the real potential due to his size and offload, but Sam always came across as just big and slow with a shitty attitude where Sione actually has some skills and dynamism about him.

I think it was a game last season V the Raiders where Lousi started at lock. He would've played about 60 minutes and just killed it. If he didn't score a try, he certainly was involved in setting up a couple. This is what he needs to aim for week in, week out.
