Hurrell played NSWarriors today, nothing special but managed to find himself put on report for an elbow to the face when he tackled a guy. Hes got carryover points with him smashing Tupous jaw into 103483489348 pieces so could be out for a couple

Heading out to this game now, should be a cracker. Will either be a massive confidence booster and season-defining game, or a crash back to earth after a couple of solid months beating mainly average teams. Will be good to see how we go against a top team, should be a good test.

Lovely weather here after a week of cold and rain, so no excuses with that.

Was at the game, there was good support there for the boys, so a shame to see the game turn out this way. Our guys looked really fatigued early on. Not sure if they picked it up on the TV, but there was a time early in the second half where most of our team was just standing there, not even getting back in line. So weird how we play better against teams with players like Hoff and Manu there.

Was a fair bit of noticeably offside play, and that forward pass try was right in front of the supporters bay - no idea what the touchie and ref were watching. Having said that, the chooks defended excellently, real testament for how defence wins games. They are able to get to that extra level we can never seem to achieve, and it is that edge we need if we are ever to go deep into the finals. It's all well and good playing well against average sides, but we were majorly outclassed by a top outfit today.
