1. DWZ 4/10 did legitimately nothing. doesn't have the skills of moylan we all knew that but did not show his speed at all
2. Blake 3/10 except for some good runs was hopeless just drops the ball and rushes in, if he runs straight he is powerful without dropping it
3. Whare 5/10 defence was good but nothing else
4. Yeo 4/10 did he even play?
5. Simmons 6.5/10 tried hard and wasn't stupid with silly offloads rather just played smart but still not very effective
6. Peachey 7.5/10 one of the only panhters who threatened without being stupid. Looked very dangerous
7. Wallace 4/10 did not do anything. Kicking game was bad completely owned by peach
8. RCG 7/10 ran hard all game
9. Segeyaro 7.5/10 also played well, looked dangerous and tackled hard
10. Mckendry 3/10 was he even on the field?
11. Docker 2/10 did nothing
12. Manu 3.5/10 didn't make any impact either
13. Taylor 6.5/10 made a solid 36 tackles and missed none.
14. Cartwright 5.5/10 did ok but too many stupid offloads
15. Latimore 4/10 did some runs but did nithing either. Forwards got owned
16. Anderson 4/10 didn't do much but his runs were effective
17. Brown 4/10 yet again was he on the field?

Blake sucked but I thought he still looked more threatening than Whare and Simmons. He atleast did some good for all his bad.

DWZ was horrible. But he can only get better from here.

3. Peachey
2. Segeyaro
1. Cartwright

Although no one deserves points for that. It was horrific

Blake as dropped the ball 3 times in 3 weeks where its a 100% try. If that doesn't get you dropped nothing will.

Cartwright did all the damage on the left so gets moved to the right this week. Great tactics as was making our forwards even smaller & softer then last week.

We are just an average team this year

They are pretty generous scores, especially Wallace. I would put Dockers 2 at halfback over Wallace he is terrible.

Ive heard rumours of Sandow coming to Penrith, I hate Sandow but he is miles ahead of Wallace and i would welcome the signing if it meant i never had to see Wallace play for us again...

I dont think its a coincidence that Wallace didnt play 3/4 of the season and we made the semi.

Wallace is a poor mans Luke Walsh, if thats not the biggest insult i can make i dont know what is.

Walsh atleast had a kicking game. Wallace has nothing missed 2 tackles that led to tries

What a car wreck, and a horrific one at that.
we may as well just run out with just peachey, taylor, cartwright and chicko. At least then we may be able to complete a set of six.

Even the press conference was embarrassing, "oh yeh it was coming.." pull your head out of your ass and give the players a spray they played dreadful and old captain stunned mullet looked as enthusiastic as the potato in my cupboard, a lot of fans and coaching staff are more or less happy at this point in time and using the injuries as an excuse but sorry there were 17 players that werent injured and possibly 4-5 seemed to want to play, Brown, Manu, Docker, Wallace, Taylor, Mckendy, Latimore, Anderson, Simmons, Yeo, Whare, Blake and DWZ might aswell of just stayed home they were completely shit.

They have a couple of weeks off, they might aswell take the next 9 months off and concentrate on NSW Cup.

The one (and only) thing he had going for him was his defence, but this year it's fallen away with the rest of his game. Pathetic that he's our captain.

It was always going to be tough with Melb coming off a flogging last week. Not to mention no early consistency from refs in relation (blatant double-standards awarding a scrum to Melb twice), and Melb being all over us in play the balls, elbows to the face etc, and nothing being done.

However, we ovbiously contributed this to with error upon error and stupid penalties, and some bad defense. The boys are paid good money to pay 80 mins a week, and represent the Panthers jersey, thus it is frustrating with the other team shows up with more energy than us, and we lack the attention to detail with sloppy play.

We didn't have the energy to compete last night, and looked for the easy option (spreading it wide, and then dropped ball or bad kicks from Whare). We need to concentrate on winning up the middle, which would then give the backs confidence and would put us in a position to spread the ball and make some good kicks, as the defense would be on the back foot).

It is a positive we only gave away 2 points in the 2nd half.

I would love to see Wallace change his behaviour a bit, yes, do question the refs, but don't let it deflate his body language. Move on from it, and rev the side up and lead by exmple and keep your chin up.

I would also love to see Cartwright start, we could use his energy from the beginning.

Team for the Dogs:

1. DWZ
2. Mansour
3. Whare
4. Yeo
5. Simmons
6. Soward
7. Wallace
8. RCG
9. Segeyaro
10. Mckendry
11. Cartwright
12. Brown
13. Taylor

14. Latimore
15. Peachey
16. Manu
17. Kite (if fit and on notice)/Anderson.

So can we now all agree Docker isn't good enough for first grade anymore?

18 tackles for 5 missed tackles (most misses in our team)
4 runs for 39m gained
1 error

He misses too many tackles to be picked for his defence and offers nothing in attack. He didn't even manage a big hit last night to get people excited. Sure it was only his first NRL game this year, but he has only gotten worse since a great 2013 season.

Soward is a more effective defender. Although to Dockers credit, it must be the first time he didn't get penalized and he only made one error.

I missed the game but recorded it. Should I bother? Or can someone give me a brief summary?

Didn't post last night as I was too angry.

I came up with a new drinking game. Every time we drop the ball you skull your drink. I can't remember the second half :)

On the good side, Melbourne didn't score a try in the second half despite having more possession than any other NRL team in history. Peachey, RCG and Segs tried hard.

Maybe Blake should move back to NSW cup to get some confidence back. His handling the last few weeks has been bad.
Cartwrights offloads are a genuine weapon but second tackle in your own half probably isn't the best place to try it.
How long before Moylan and Soward are back?

3. Peachey
2. RCG

Moylan is looking at 10 weeks.
Soward will hopefully be right for our next game. Although with us a guy who is a last minute withdrawal tends to be another 4 weeks away from playing.based on Mansour,Taylor and Whare anyway.
