Team V Tigers

I reckon Mateo should get a look in off the bench this week...this is a massive game for us, and the Tigers simply can't handle him. They've never been able to, they struggle with offloads and Hayne and Burt off the back of Fui, Cayless and Mateo has the potential to destroy them.

That's a good point, Bazal. However, Parramatta has been very good with off-loads recently and I think the Tigers will find it very difficult to handle us anyway. I just think Mateo is a bit of a risk in terms of his mistake rate (which I have no doubt Anderson will work on next year). But if we lose this game, we're history; and I think we can win without him. So I'd leave him out. Next year, absolutely he's got to be in the team right from the start, but not in a sudden death situation.

Well my answer is that he is 10 times the player lowrie is/ 5 times the player joe g is/ 5 times better than B Smith...He is a calss act and a player that can get a team into a grand final.Like he was in the top 5 players in the comp, class players do have mistake rates but they also win games with vision and class.

Raudonikis, I know you're absolutely right about him being a class player. There/s no doubt about that. The reason I said he's (just a bit) over-rated, is because I think he needs to be reigned in a little bit. I think, even at his best, he's a bit erratic; and yes he does have the odd mistake in him. I reckon next year, Anderson will temper his play a little, make him a bit tighter (much like he's doing with Inu at the moment), get the mistakes out of his game, and then he can let rip with a bit of his flair off a more solid platform. I think by the end of next year we might be calling him a champion player. But not yet.

Lingard I dont think Anderson will want to change his play much, firstly he will get his fitness to the right level and probably work on his strenght aswell but Mateo has to find where he fits himself. If we have Mortimer and KK running the show, Mateo can take a back seat and inject himself as he see's fit. Mateo was able to work with a team that had Smith, Finch and Riddell who probably comanded the ball more than Mortimer, KK and Hayne will.
