If you look at BF (BlueFox not Battered Flake) side and add couple of up of up and coming centres ,new signings ,mcguiness and Hines and Finucane , and hopefully at least 1 new prop, 2022 looks promising. Id play Metcalf as much as possible. Moylan is obviously more experienced and better at this stage but fragile. His strength is he has always come back from his many injuries ( or usually ) and hits form straight away . What a super sub to have! Almost like a luxury Strom or Rooters have .!!!Hopefully Metcalf will be more durable and be given the opportunity to improve and cement his spot for the future

We are already lacking in leadership. With Wado ruled out until 2022, we will need the experience of Moylan, Chambers and whatever else we can muster, even just to make the 8. Consider how badly we went mid-season without proper leadership, then SJ & Moyza come back against the Tits and we click for a few weeks. Then more injuries to team leaders and we're back off the rails again

As fun as it was, I wouldn't mistake Trindall & Metcalf having a day out beating the Tiges for anything like coming up against what lies ahead. They both showed we have reason to be excited. But they're young and showed some poor execution under pressure in previous weeks. We have no other option for the 7. We have Moyza for 6. Let Metcalf develop from the bench without the burden of carrying the team's hopes on his shoulders. But give him more than 3 minutes FFS Josh.

Makes sense while Tracey takes Ronnie's spot. And Moylan showed a lot in his cameo yesterday.
Also allows Chambers experience back into the squad. With no Ronnie (bugger!) we will need Chambers gritt to fire us up. Chambers > Hiroti, anyway.

You know what SOL i reckon use this last part of 2021 to go all out with blooding these guys. If it works good if it doesn’t I don’t think it matters. We won’t get past week 2 anyway. We may jag the knights or eels or whatever week 1 but then that’s it.
