If I had to guess, he'd be one of the quickest halves in the comp over 70-100m, pretty middle of the pack over the first 40... based more on watching him in NYC and Cup. Hard to compare, but he's not slow.

You know I can't recall anything about Fitzgibbon that I like. How has he made it this far with his career? Has looked a proper plodder every single minute I've watched him play in any grade.

If I recall he scored a bunch of easy tries close to the line in NYC that had some people very excited.

If you watched say the Safitis or Tapine in NYC you saw the skills there and you could see they'd have a lot to offer once they developed in FG. I never saw any of that in Fitzbibbon though. I've always felt he was probably one of those juniors that was made to look like a superstar by the good side around him rather than him being an important cog in their success.

I think Feeney will come real good after half a dozen or so games in the halves.

I'm going to predict it now - he'll have 1 Andrew Johns like performance by the end of the NRL season.

Here's the highlights from his hat trick in the finals last year. He's no James Roberts, but he's far from slow when he gets going.

Yep, showed a bit toe in that last try. Thanks for the link.

I honestly have not seen anything from him in firsts to suggest he's quick. Quite the opposite really. I'm wondering whether he's been carrying an injury or been restricted some way in his movement????

Maybe at the Argyle or King Street Hotel.
