stagger, its because the collingwood v geelong game in the AFL was on at the MCG and the storm were hoping some supporeters would come to AAMI stadium before going to the g for the AFL

Parra can win but only if they fire up.

We hate Melbourne right!

But sadly under Kearney that hatred for them seems to have vanished. If we respect them we get hammered.

If we hate them we have a chance.

Fired up boys!!

Injured Melbourne fullback Billy Slater will miss their clash with Parramatta with Storm NRL coach Craig Bellamy saying he's unsure when he'll return.
The champion fullback was left out of ladder-leader Melbourne's line-up for Saturday night's clash with Parramatta and remains doubtful for the round-21 clash with St George Illawarra.
Coach Craig Bellamy said on Wednesday he wouldn't rush his Test custodian despite the Storm's recent form slump and didn't know when he would return from the injury suffered in the second State of Origin match on June 13.

i wonder if these last few weeks are showing that Bellamy might not be the messiah that people think he is.
Round 16 20-4 loss to Dogs - fair enough a game that could go either way and the dogs were on fire that day. Were without Slater
Round 17 Bye
Round 18 40-12 loss to Canberra who were in 14th place. Yes they were missing Slater and Smith but did have internationals in Cronk, Manu, Widdop, and Origin player Nielson while Canberra were without Campese and Dugan
Round 19 20-16 loss to NQ. Without Slater but had Smith back.

So with 1 of the "big 3" missing they have managed 1 win and 4 losses
Everyone talks about how Bellamy can get the best out of toilers who don't seem to do much after they leave but maybe the fact that he has an international 1,6,7,9 is the only reason the toilers and therefore Bellamy is looking good.

it wouldnt surprise me we usually manage to jag a win just when it looks like kearney is about to be sacked

When does it look like he will be sacked? The whinging has been fever pitch for months? We should have won 10 straight if we judge from that.

The win stats are huge for a team following the coach getting sacked. Some players want to fire up for the old coach and others want to impress the new one.

Should be fun playing the cheaters at home again tomorrow.

Any chance of a last minute move to Homebush? That way we could fit in the extra fans who want to send off a Parra legend in his final game. I know I will shed a tear during SK's lap of honour @ fulltime.
