Team vs. Storm

This is so freaken bad. Sue is one of the only forwards we have who is hitting the line hard.
Woods, Grant, Ava, Sue, Aloiai and Lawrence are the only forwards making good metres.

With the last two acting as minders for a centre and a half each, it minimises their impact with ball in hand, especially when the muppets in the halves refuse to look where they are passing.

I'm f**king sick of these no look short passes on the line, especially from Brooks and Moses. I can't recall the last time I saw one stick.

If they're not right better off resting Kev and nofo and just sucking tomorrow up as a loss IMO

For the forwards I think we'll see:

8. Grant
9. Farah
10. Ava
11. Sironen
12. Lawrence
13. Halatau

14. Aloiai
15. Lovett
16. Edwards
17. Chee Kam

That bench will be fcking horrendous.

Brooks is the biggest culprit of those adverse no look passes. This imbecile has been an enormous liability to us for a while. The fact that he continues to retain his spot in the NRL team is diabolical.Im sick of this complacent halfwit constantly playing braindead in every aspect of a halfbacks game.

Taylor as an ex halfback should be fully aware that brooks brings nothing positive to this team & if Taylor hasn't been able to help rectify this gumps error riddled game then why the f**k hasn't Taylor told him to go play under Paul Stringer.

I know Taylor was an average halfback but as the coach its beholden on him to instruct & advise the gump no.7 about the fundamentals of passing catching & kicking & to reinforce to him where he is currently going wrong & hence to do the utmost to fix these chronic issues. This fraudster is on 600k & if payment was linked to performance he'd be insolvent coz he'd owe us way more than his current net worth !

You can tell and show and train players to catch all day.

Its not always going to work.

The dropped ball isn't my concern. Its the poor passibg options.

Brooks does not look comfortable playing. He isn't playing his natural game. That much is abundantly clear

Brooks will end up playing under an intelligent coach & excellent ex-halfback like Hasler who will get the best out of his running game which has been inexplicably dormant with us for ages.I have no doubt that Taylor has to share culpability in Brooks's very poor form.

Not looking forward to the customary dumb errors which most likely our halves will make tomorrow 5 mins either side of half time which Melbourne will capitalise on.

Sue, Buchanan and Woods out.

Nofo and Naiqama in doubt. Simona still suspended.

Brooks named at 7. Small bench named for what will probably be a very wet day.

Oh oh...

Unlike others, I am not blaming Brooks for all our woes, not saying he isn't playing poor, but so are a few others, I think the season is over and it's time (once again) to blood some players to see how they go.

However, I still think we have a chance in this one.

He's not solely responsible, but let's look at the parra and Newcastle games. His poor options in attack cost the team any chance of a win, several times.

He's played 50 top grade games. The time for development is supposed to go for how long? Another year? Two? He was supposed to improve, not regress, and has shown little to warrant a new contract.

He's paid to perform.

Brooks was also instrumental in us losing to the Sharks. He made more than his usual no. of diabolical errors in that game.Their is no chance of this dud improving while he knows he will never get dropped & while he is conditioned to earning obscene money for being inept & never being held accountable for the rubbish he dishes out each week.

I don't know what to do about him. I don't know if dropping him is the answer. You are right in that he is playing terrible footy at the moment. I don't think Moses is playing that much better but at least Moses isn't making a tonne of mistakes.
