He was terrible in defense last week.

Theres been a few captains over the years but not had this many at the current turnover rate I don't think.

That was during McClennan's reign. Both Mannering & Luck were missing for a bit, and granted there weren't a lot of other options, but it still seemed an odd choice.
Interestingly, Manu's 4 games as captain were the last 4 games of McClennan's time in charge too.

Viliami Vailea, a centre, debuts tonight. Does he play other positions?
Any word on this guy?

He's a centre, was due to join our top 30 next year (might be wrong there) I believe as the 4th centre (Aitken, Berry, Pompey, Vailea), has played a little at wing. Very highly rated but inexperienced like Otukolo (has been playing regular Qcup though, unlike Otukolo). 3 games of SG ball last year, 1 game of colts and 8 games of Qcup this year. That's it.

I'm guessing Pride (a forward) might be coming into the side late..
