Teams info project

I know it's a big deal and a lot of work so I won't be too disappointed if no one wants to do this.

But - I'm starting to get more interested in the Elite - but I don't really know many of the teams and their colours etc. When watching the vids, I only really know UTC and Lezignan.

It would be cool if someone could put together a thread with pics of jerseys and info about key players, team facilities and location etc.

I'd definitely appreciate it, and I think it would be very helpful in building awareness and interest.

This site here has all the info for the teams, players, where they come from, age, weight, top scorers, goal kickers and other stuff, it's in French, but just keep clicking on different things like a team in the table, then click on Effectif and it will show you the players and other stuff.

Click on information and you get the history of the club, where they are, who runs it, phone, address and other stuff.

Also in the info part is the stadium names, copy and paste into google to see what comes up, I just did for Carcassonne and a heap of Kangaroo V French pics popped up plus this.

One thing that definitely needs attention from interested people would be helping to clean up and edit the Wikipedia articles on French Rugby league (in the English language Wiki).

At the moment the main articles on it are a bit of a mess... and the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rugby_league_in_france article especially could do with a bit of help from those in the know. There are also individual articles on the Elite clubs that could easily become really great resources for publicising the French game to English speakers...
