Temporarily swapping seats

I have a season ticket but some friends wanna come to the game with me this weekend. Whats the process of transferring the ticket so I can sit with my mates without having to buy an extra ticket? Can I get it done before the game or do I have to do it on the gate?

if you want to sit in a different seat to your stipulated season ticket - you have to buy the ticket like everyone else

thing is - if u r a STH on the terraces/stands and you want to go sit GA with some friends for a game, you can't use your ST to get in to the GA area, so u have to pay again ... unless its a sellout or looking like a sellout then I don't think they should charge you again - but it seems thats how it is

its for this reason that i get the GA season tickets on the sterling terrace (alcohol end) - i know the seats arent as good (however they r cheaper ) but i can sit with both my friends who come to 1 off games and my other season ticket holder friends even though we didnt buy our seaosn tickets together: WIN WIN

Anyway - it can't be done and i think it is fair enough. If everyone does this every week this it would be bedlam.

Yeah it's annoying. The main reason I refuse to become a ticketed member sadly. Our club should do more to accomodate this. You cannot even meet up with a mate to say a quick g'day at halftime if you're situated in different areas. Pretty pathetic really as in every other stadium in Sydney you can do that.

As for temporarily swapping seats Parramatta style, maybe get in touch with the Football Club and prehaps they can organise a discounted ticket. :-k

in the same vein if a season ticket member is going away for a few weeks and not using their seat why couldnt they get in touch with the club and put it back in the pool of available seats for a partial refund on their membership or a discount voucher or something? at least it would still be used nothing worse than going to a sellout game and seeing empty seats wasting space up in the grandstand knowing people are being turned away outside

The Swans also have a membership resale program where you can call a number and place your seat on sale for X number of weeks, and as a reward either get discounted membership the following season or discounts on merchandise.
