Crazy turnaround in this match.

Stan is killing Fed after being 2 sets to nil down.
That's a big break back from Federer.

Back to his best there when needed early in the 4th.

Got to stay at a high level now as Stan is just swinging at pretty much everything.

Fed totally collapsed I'm still not convinced he can turn this around.

Speaking of collapsing, that game from Stan to give Fed the break...

Phew! What a turnaround in that 5th set.

I'll be cheering Dimitrov on tomorrow like he's Fed himself!

Don't get me wrong, Nadal is my 2nd fave player but I desperately want Fed to win 1 more Slam.

A very poor third set from Fed gave Stan a sniff and naturally Stanimal found his range and hit everything.

Very strong mental game from Federer to save the two BPs in the fifth. Seemed to find his game again as well. At the very least you would think he hasn't peaked in the SF, unlike Wimbledon and USO in 2015.

I'm expecting Nadal to get through tomorrow. It will be the greatest challenge for Fed. Poor bastard, Djokovic & Murray out...and he runs into Nadal who's been MIA in big matches for the last two seasons.

If Fed was facing 2009 Nadal then it'd be all over.

Granted this isn't exactly vintage 2004-2007 Federer but I do believe he has a shot against this lesser version of Nadal.

Fingers crossed for Federer vs Nadal Round 9.

Even if it's only a fraction as good as the greatest match ever played it will be worth it.

I like Venus but f**k Serena pisses me off. I hope Venus wipes the floor with her sisters fat ass.

Honestly I completely lost interest when Djoko crashed out, thinking Murray would more than likely win again....awful.

But then he crashed out and the world was good again. Federer vs Nadal will be awesome, and if Dimitrov does somehow get through I'll be keen as for him to win it as a first timer...

I like your optimism but I'm not so sure. Unless it's grass or indoor hardcourt their matches always end up the same.

Federer would have to produce a masterclass in aggressive tennis with a zoning backhand to withstand the barrage of loopy forehands he's going to be getting. If the court were closer to USO or Basel he'd be a huge chance.

If this is Fed's or Rafa's last slam win it will be very hollow with them not having to beat Joker or Sir merkinface

Nah nothing hollow about it.

Djoker and Murray weren't good enough to even make it to the quarters.

This is knockout tournament tennis. It's not like a team playing the Storm minus Cronk and Smith.

The more I watch Rafa in this match, the less chance I give Federer.

Rafa is going to break down Fed's backhand in brutal fashion.

Unless Fed pulls out his A+++ game then the result will be so predictable.

Nadal will have to stop plodding it up first. Dimitrov playing well too.

Nadal, like Djokovic, plays the big points so well that he was always odds on to win that tie breaker.

He's just so reliable off of both flanks when it matters.
