Valiant effort from Fed, but it's a bridge too far. The court speed, match up and age factor as well make it a bit too much. Shame, as his ball striking has been solid, but the dirt just doesn't allow shots to penetrate. At one point I counted about 4 winners in two points from Fed...but he lost both points. He should back up well on grass & hardcourt though. Silver lining.

Djokovic was poor. His feet seemed out of position far too often. Serve and volleying when it made little sense. Bizarre.

Thiem did well, but should have closed it out much earlier.

Nadal shouldn't have too many troubles in the final.

Agree, the crowd sucked. They’ve been awful all tournament.
Barty was awesome, she deserved a better crowd and atmosphere.

That was great, Barty was excited but still so humble at the same time. Barty’s comments about Evonne Goolagong / Cawley were just amazing, so much respect, Ash Barty is a breath of fresh air for women’s tennis and tennis in general.

Nadal survived a very good Thiem in the first few games to take the 1st set.

His defence is still there and his high percentage play still has him looking so comfortable. You need another Soderling GOAT show to hit through him.

Thiem will have his time but Nadal will make it at least a dozen in Paris first.
