Kyrgios plain old didn't give a f**k out there tonight. With 99% of players who lose, they bust their asses trying. You could not say that about Kyrgios tonight.

I don't really think it was a choke. Everyone expects Stosur to lose first round these days. Everyone except her that is!

I'm starting to think I will never see another Australian women finalist at the Australian open in my life time, the last winner was Chris O Neill back in 1978 when there was a strike from the major players competing, the last finalist we had was Wendy Turnbull in 1980.

I was in the pub for trivia and they had it on the screen, the whole bar was cheering on Seppi during that comeback.

That's how much of a douche people think you are Nick.

His presser was good, getting knocked out of his home slam might wake him up, said he needs a coach, which is the one thing that has held him back.

You really think this clown's problems are going to be solved if he gets a coach? I'd say the absence of a coach is not the only thing holding him back. He is arrogance personified, despite having achieved 2 fifth's of f**k all in the sport. He speaks to his entourage like garbage, good luck to an outsider coach telling him what's what and Nick just taking it all in his stride.

Oh sure, he'll get a coach and things will be hunky dory for a few months... then he'll self destruct somewhere along the way and it'll be someone else's fault and the inevitable fall out will eventuate and this time next year we'll be reading about another failed Aussie Open campaign by this petulant child. Rinse and repeat for the next 5-10 years and that will about sum up his career.... a couple of minor tournament wins each season in Shanghai or Montreal here and there mixed in with grand slam disgrace after disgrace... All the while channel 7 will tell us how he's ready to "take the next step and realise his unrivalled potential".....vomit....

This is the thing that will probably change, he actually looked shattered at what happened, and that this might be his Djokovic moment that pushes him over the line to fullfill his actual potential.... Being booed off his home will be the real killer, a lot different to being booed in the middle of nowhere.

Wouldn't surprise me if we update this next year and he was out in the 2nd round again.
It would surprise me. Surely like all the other Aussies, he should be on the downward spiral and be eliminated round 1, right?

Well... now it's time for the Aussie media to give him a hard time for the next 11 months until he's our hero again.

Kyrgios, Djokovic gone... just need Murray to bow out or preferably die and this will be a great Aus Open.

Yeah like that Estrella Burgos who Tomic played.

What a fighter he was.

Great win by Dasha tonight.

Barty plays Barthel tomorrow night. If she plays well Ash could win this one.

Tough match for Bernie tomorrow against Evans who is in great form and made the final at the Sydney Apia tournament last week. Also Evans just knocked out 7th seed Cilic yesterday.
