I can't believe people actually rip on Terminator 3, What more did you want from the movie?? i guess im just a huge Terminator fan cuz i didnt see much wrong with it.

I have a feeling this one will be better.

One too many sequels I reckon. I've no doubt it will do well at the box office because of Bale's presence and being part of the Terminator franchise, but this one is going to be a turkey.

The main script-writer is John D Brancato, the fellow responsible for such classics as Catwoman, Primeval and The Net.

We must have been watching different movies then. As much as I like Sandra Bullock, she was awful. It's not the worst movie I've seen, IMDB give it a 5.6 out of 10 (with more than 19,000 votes), but I thought it was pretty average.

Catwoman (IMDb rating of 3.2) is a stinker. Hopefully we are agreed on that.

Sadly, the other main screen-writer, Michael Ferris, also had his hand in the three movies I mentioned. The writer for Terminator Salvation, David C Wilson, has a fairly limited pedigree, but I've seen Supernova and it was very ordinary too (IMDb gives it 4.2).

All in all, the omens are not looking positive (apart from having Bale on the cast). Hope I'm wrong.

One positive is that Jonah Nolan (Memento, The Prestige, The Dark Knight) has been doing script edits on set as they are filming.

Sorry but Depp is my favourite actor of all time.
Terminator should be good. They are making at least 3 more movies I read on the net. Shame the tv series was set back to 10:30 at night. Must have been a flop. Hopefully the new one will live up to its name. I liked no. 3 but have to agree not as good as 1 and 2.

I saw a picture in zoo magazine with john connor (bale) wearing black tactical gear standing on a terminators neck, a T-800 by the looks of it, with an M4 Rifle pointed at the T-800's head. Connor had a mean angry face.

That alone makes this new movie kick ass.

i didn't mind it, wasn't as good as T2, but on par with T1 for me.

bale is one of the best actors out there at the moment...i reckon he will do great in this.
