Terrel May

Whilst many of us would like the club to sign May, my expectations are low.

I would expect him to go to Dogs before us

They are 2 years ahead of us in their rebuild
2024 the dogs were easily two years ahead

But they have taken their time, at one stage there it seemed they had half a team of 14's.

I think Flanno has been much smarter and has narrowed the gap substantially. He gets a quality middle or two, and a decent half, we are IMO matching them..

Hopefully Terrell and manager will acknowledge that.

I'm having another $50 bet with work buddy

'Saints to finish ahead of the dogs'

With Terrell Mays previous comments about his motivation sometimes, wouldn't that scare May and the Dogs considering they made a guy wrestle 30 blokes because he was 30 mins late and they went on a spree to bring in hard workers hence why they improved so much in 2024?

I can see May now heading to the Tigers and coasting along to get his pay packet like the other players they brought in such as Klemmer and Bateman.

Dogs and Dragons will demand to much in training which sounds like it is not his thing.

I certainly didn't see Terrel May "coast". He had massive involvement in every game he has played for the roosters and reps. I don't think that carefree attitude applies to actual games. He has a huge motor and very skilful. Very low missed tackles also.

heard a bit of the bye round poddy w Cheese who is mates w May - basically called it b/w the eels and dogs as it stands but, end of the day, will come down to the "0's" - size of contract

Bloody good question.

May's stats are very impressive but that's around a quality pack who work in unison.

I wouldn't like to be paying anywhere near AFB money

We can only leave that to Flanno
May
Cook
Molo
Leilua
Su'A
De Belin

It seems like a pack that will match it any NRL pack in 2025.

I think that Bennett is picking up Lodge for Souths. I would say Thompson has to be our next target.
We may not get any of our big targets. That means developing and promoting through pathways. Thankfully, there is plenty to like among the young 'uns altho halves will take a bit longer.
