I used to think that as well but now I'm not so sure. I think Flanno will sign one for the right price but I keep going back to our two hookers?? I think we might see a different game plan next year based more on speed and mobile forwards. Get ready for Dragon Ball.
Here come the Couchman twins - speed up the middle and close on the edge. 2025 will be their breakout year.

Fonua Pole's numbers are not anywhere near as good as May's.

I think you'll find Pole won't be going anywhere. He's at WT in 2025, and will probably take over from Klem who is likely to be moved on.
It was confirmed today in a WT member's email that May has officially signed with them so Pole might also want to be part of this tasty rebuild WT have got going.
I believe one of their best signings is winger Skelton. He was awesome in the finals and still a pup....a very big and fast pup.

Bump
May is making a clear choice of who he thinks is the better coach for his career development out of Flano Ryles and Benji
A failure to sign May tells us alot about the current stance of our club when we can not compete against the cellar dwellers
No more excuses
Its time
At this point we have only signed players that have not been chased by any other club and even then we have overpaid and have given them their terms in the length of contracts
May chose the money and his Penrith mates

given his issues with whether he wants to play from time to time, I predict the Tigers will convert him from a gun forward to a plodder.

Where do we get a prop from?
What are our options?
For the next one or two years, JDB will be a prop. By 2026 Toby will be a seasoned prop and will be joined by LPT. But we might get another one in the market in that time.

Of course there are still Lawrie, Fifita and the Molos but they aren't setting the world on fire.

Maybe a prop from the UK?

Is not Skelton mid 20's?

How bad are we at when top players are choosing to go to 3 time spooners over us.

I suspect its more that he already had some close friends who will be playing at the Tigers (e.g Jerome Luai) that influeced him assumoing the remuneration offered was similar from both clubs. Also considering he at times struggles with his mental commitment to the game, he may fit in better there than at the dragons under a harder taskmaster in Flanagan.

If both Couchmen break thru this year (as in play most games rather than fringe players), and Sele stays fit, that’s a huge jump from 2024. JDB, Frankie Molo, on top and that’s your main middles, but with RFM & Lawrie to potentially step up And then we also blood Fifita and LPT, and do we still have eisenhuth?

sure an alpha on top would be grand, but nothing else, please.

Edge players are rather clear wit Su‘a and Luc, and Egan to be blooded as backup. It’s not so grim. 2025 is better than 2024 imho.
