77,900 (so 64,000 in reality). That means there were very few neutrals as such too. When you take into consideration that the semi's pulled in 24,000 combined though it doesn't sound as bad.

The curtain raiser was the year 7 (under 13) school final too.

Leeds looked very good last night anyway and if they can find that defence in the playoffs, will be a tough team to beat.

Thanks for the Curtain Raiser info Harrigan.

Excuse ignorance, but what does this mean? Have attendances normally included Club Wembley members regardless if they actually appear?

Yep. When the new wembley opened all the sports decided whether they were included in Club Wembley or not. The RFL get a slice of the Club Wembley pie no matter how many turn up and because if such, all attendances have club wembley included.

So what was the incentive to accept club wembley then?

what u mean "accept" club wembley??

club wembley is essentially a season ticket for all 'regular" events at wembley..from england football games, fa cup semi finals & final, challenge cup final, concerts etc....non regular events like the RLWCs semi club wembley members get first option on their seats/boxes but if they don't want to attend they can be sold on the open market.....i sat in the club wembley middle tier for the semi last year

The NFL opted not to let club wembley members attend their games. These seats all go on sale to regular members of the public from £150 upwards. Each sport had an option to let club wembley be a part of their event or not.

As good a performance from Leeds as I can remember, particularly in a major final.

That said Cas weren't a patch on the side that rattled Leeds in the league a few weeks ago. Maybe lacking the big game experience.

Pleased for Sinfield, McGuire, Burrow and co. Core of the best ever Leeds side, for sure. Wonder how much longer they can be at the top of their game. It's been quite some decade :D

ty sure we're tied into the club wembley deal till 2017,iirc the initial club wembley offering,to fans, was a 10 year deal...we decided to opt into club wembley when the place opened in 2007....the NFL didn't rock till 2009 so yeah they had the option of opting in or out....we're stuck with it now..
