Based on todays game anyway looks like a decent option at 5/8

Have fun with Brwaith

heard he played pretty well for canberra after he signed his contract with the roosters too ;-)

actually, i hope he goes all right for you and keeps his egocentristic attitude under control. theres got to be something to be said when he's alienated himself at two clubs......but heres hoping your still gloating in a year or two.

Looking forward to him becoming an Eel.......
Hope he can turn his game around to a positive just as Justin Hodges, Mick Crocker, Matt Sing and Dean Widders did after they left the Roosters..

Hodges did ok until he did his knee and his girlfriend left him and went back to QLD. No difference in Crockers game from playing with the roosters and going to the storm (still hits em hard and high, bless him). Sing played well for the roosters throughout his years here and widders

good luck to finch.

He may very well find consistancy however i feel he needs a dominate 5-8th to play along side with he was a goood combination with fitler but when hes in charge he cant handle it and for some reason he cant do it with braith either

you've hit the nail on the head. he needs to take a secondary role on the paddock, not be the main playmaker and certainly not steering the ship. when he gets flummoxed he tries too hard and when he tries too hard, he screws up more and then he becomes more flummoxed........you get the picture.

maybe though, a new club, no pressure of being the fans whipping boy, who knows. i'm glad to see him go. i love parra (in a non committed kind of way ;-) ) for taking him off our hands and hope you have more luck with him than canberra and easts did.

Good Luck to you Parra.....he played great in Game 1 origin also....then what happened??

Enjoy!!!!

As for our boys playing better when the leave our Club.

How about Robinson and Cayless when they joined the Roosters......they were far better players when they left us as opposed to when they left you.....gee some people are delusional. You guys ruined David Solomona.

He has consistancy. The Cowboys game was a glitch. ;-)

 - Both J Cayless and C Robinson left the Roosters..couldn't stand the culture...Cayless became a bohemian..let his appearance go and refused to have a haircut... C Robinson is a nice clean cut guy who moved on to better things...C'mon Finchy, we'll look after you and help you develop your full potential...
D Solomona..ruined? Represented his country after his stint with the Eels...

Yet J. Cayless has something his brother doesnt.

Its called a premiership, something Parra havent seen in a long while.

Solomano - he is a pie eater and a great bench player because you could never get him fit..neither could we. Where is he now? In the land of unfit players England?

Give you three months and you will wish you had hit Finch with the WELCOME mat.

It's funny you mentioned Robinson and Cayles. They were B graders with Parramatta and Cayless went on to play for NZ and got a great contract with an English club after he came to us - we turned him from a nobody he was at Parramatta into a rep player.

We couldn't match the offer from an English club and lets face it money talks.

But don't take any credit for his representative career...
