My brother went to school with him. He's a Syndey Tech boy; Has a tat of the Saints dragon on his left shoulder from '99. Sold his soul to the Tele a few years ago, and after the '05 run became quite bitter.

No way, I went to Sydney Tech. I feel unclean.

To the Mason family....."I got an icecream.......... your mums on welfare", Go out an buy a ticket like the rest of us you cheapskates, with all the money your getting from family assistance I'm sure a few dollars for the footy wouldn't hurt.

I'm curious as to why there was no breakout of morality to be found when Parramatta Stadium sold out last week.

The Parramatta club applauded it, as they should. http://www.parraeels.com.au/default.aspx?s=article-display&id=19760

Moreover, in the lead up to the Parra v Penrith being sold out, the Eels club reiterated that no freebies were available - this being a condition of junior passes.

With demand at near unprecedented levels, the Club wishes to advise that NRL Junior Passes and NRL Season Passes will not be accepted for this match.

The Dragons club have always the same conditions and have done the same type of media releases.
If anything, the Dragons media release is more informative.

Please be advised that due to venue capacity constraints, NRL (Yellow Passes), Club Junior Passes and NRL match passes cannot be accepted for this match. The conditions of entry for these passes specify that entry is subject to venue capacity. See back of pass for card entry conditions.

Both media release relating to Parramatta Stadium and Kogarah Jubilee advised fans to purchase tickets in advance from the usual outlets.

The Kogarah situation is no different to Parramatta.
you cant win with these parasites i guarantee if you moved the game to anz the headline would be "greedy dragons choose payout over fans"

Correct me if i'm wrong but don't those passes allow you to go any ground? if that's the case theres 18 other games a year to attend to, so why sook about missing one or two at one gorund.

I don't mean to sound harsh but this rubbish is not back page material, seriously haven't we put up with enough crap how it is!

what a dog act from Massoud and he calls himself a dragons supporter. I'm sick of all this media attention on the dragons in the telecrap. We not only have a full double page today, but the back page as well. This issue about junior passes has never been brought up before, but when the dragons have a sellout game against a sydney team who is suddenly a hot favourite to win the gf - lets blame it on the dragons for not moving the game to ANZ.

I thought that all this bashing in the media in the past was because they wanted to bring down Browny but it appears its a "dragons" thing.

Come on boys fire up prove all these jerks wrong.

You are correct RedVDave they let you into any ground... but its 'lets pick on dragons' month so lets blame it on the dragons.

Can't believe he used to sit on the hill with the rest of us............very dissapointing

I too have shared a beer with him on the Hill... very very dissapointed with this story... This is nothing but border line petty!

Perhaps Josh missed out on a ticket and this is how he can cover up his own agenda...

lol. The irony is that he almost certainly gets in for free.

Can you imagine the 'moral sense of outrage' if a gossip columnist had to pay to get in like the rest of us?

Massoud, Webster, Slothfield, Walshaw, Bec Wilson the Telecrap has scooped the pool clean on douchebag journo's not one of em worth a pinch of sh*t

As for the lockout, so what ? - those kids parents have had 30 weeks to get the kids to a free game, this is just Massoud chasing a bite from Dragonfans as Slothfield and the rest of the Crappy Crew does each time they go to print

SMH is no better, Magnay and Prithchard are just terrible and i usually lose interest after a paragraph of each, i actually switch out quicker with Pritchard actually then they have Weedler on sundy's and that bloke is just a disgrace to read and/or watch

Bulldog Ritchie is about the only journo i read with any interest as well as tThe Big League and Rugby League Review crews - my fave 2 footy mags

hmmm i wonder how many Sydney Tech boys there are on here! I'm class of 99 :)

Class of 98 - there's quite a few here....

Never met him but he always used to wear a Dragons jersey at school... from what I recall he was quite a lot shorter than the other guys... some of his writing when he was at school wasn't bad... don't know what has happened... but I guess the Telecrap is written for 13 y.o's.

Has to be said, scoop was right on one thing. It certainly was a lock out last night.

He wasn't exactly the sharpest tool in the shed at Sydney Tech, it's not unexpected he only landed a job at the tabloid or "arse end" of sports journalism.

Can't believe Massoud wrote that article. I just assumed it'd be Rothfield. Hope those kids enjoyed using their free passes to watch their beloved Roosters receive the spoon today (though I wish Fitzgibbon wasn't going out in those circumstances).
