I agree that still too many penalties are being given away. We had the ball down the dogs end in the last 10mins and twice gave away penalties to give them back good field position. Unfortuantely the second time it happend they capitilised and scored.

But overall a much improved defensive effort.

Emelio did nothing in PL. Kent was quite good. Green was outstanding along with Simmons. Aitken was solid but he has nothing on Bird at this stage. If they drop Bird I'll deadset give up. He is going to be a star he just needs to cut out the couple of errors he makes every game. He's a game breaker in the making. With Peach and Noddy doing the ball playing, Bird is an excellent choice for 5/8th. His defence has improved outta sight this year. He would be even better if he could develop a better kicking game.

Simmons was good, SS. He needs more experience but he will come of age. He hits gaps really well. The most impressive bloke tonight was John Green though. Get him in 1st grade!
