Wasn't it BTR talking baout the bulldogs arrowing ont he ball when tackling? Thats what happened to bird on his cough up, (or was it Bailey).

Anyway, it was a much inpoprved performance from all, we should be waiting a nother two weeks before worrying about any changes.

Lots of people enjoy Shania Twain's singing (she is one of the world's most beautiful woman, as is Susanna Noffs of the Bangles, sorry for that diversion), but Kent doesn't impress me much. I think there's an developing element of urban myth to Kent's playing ability. He may have looked outstanding when compared to Anderson, and Milford, but what half decent outside back wouldn't? Sure Kent tackled well in some matches, but it was his small size and the way opposition players rag dolled him in tackles that concerned me.

No, he doesnt. He made try saving tackles, scored himself and played solid in general. He actually passed and he also made the metres. Thought he had a good game.

Wethere Bird plays good or bad, I guess there will always be people having a snipe at him.

IMHO the Bird/Noddy combo is very good. Bird takes alot of the pressure off Noddy and he has been reliable in defence and attack so far. Iron out a few of the small mistakes and we have something big.

And with Sully coming in off the bench, its even more effective.

I voted Lomu off last week ! He went well but could be more dangerous if he passed! And Peach , that stupid grubber , the send off for 10 ( in which the dogs scored) , jeez I expect more. Stevens continues to impress. McGoldrick goes to Premier League next week. Bailey was out played by Tonga. Matt Reike , great to see him on top of his game , his awareness and positional play where first class.
