Agree with this. I’m dealing with some non vaccinated people who are making 2 mistakes.

Firstly thinking I actually care if they get it or not and secondly openly discussing their reasoning for not getting it with me as though they have to justify it to me.

I’m not telling you why I got it and I absolutely do not care why you didn’t so shut up

When they are now talking up to 3 boosters on top of the 2 shots & 5 yr up kids (who have way over 1 in a million risk of death from Delta) mandated - You obviously don't care..............enough!

Currently lockdowned, daughter under 12 tested positive, myself and rest of family negative. We are all jabbed, she was a few weeks away from getting the jab for her birthday. She has no symptoms aside from similar to the rest of us, pissed off being house bound.

Yeah I got a positive result on Christmas Eve….certainly put a bit of a dampener on yesterday. It’s just like a full on flu but the hot sweats overnight are something special, Could have literally wrung out my pillow. Starting to feel better already other than f**k all energy. Good excuse to be a lounge lizard for a couple more days. Hopefully the cricket lasts that long.

What actually set me off was an anti vaxer , putting guilt trip on parents getting their kids jab saying "how will you feel when your child is sterile after the jab ? " Beleive me the repercussions of not doing it and doing it keep me awake at night as My son has Breathing related medical complications . I got it cause Im old and have had good go at life , so dont want to take a hospital bed from younger ppl., like my son.... The host went completely apeshit at him, thats spread to other right wing bullshit artists, and now they're losing their followers left and right. The MAGA's are not happy now.
They've ALL been duped by a political party who, during a global pandemic with a contagious disease, actually sided with the disease. And that rhetoric has spread worldwide.

I drove past shark park at 6am today and the line for the Covid testing was past the high school in one direction then about half way up the golf course at the lights(what a shit show that would be to merge). I don’t think it opens until 9 so who knows what it would be like now.

Seems half the shire has it. The chemist at Caringbah near woolies has testing kits 5 for $75 and the line for that is out the centre! Crazy times.

We got tested last Thursday.
Went to test across from the swamp and got turned away as they were shutting - at 1230pm.
Spent 90 minutes in a line at Sutho hospital and thought we got lucky. My word we got lucky.
In lockdown till Saturday, after my daughter tested positive Xmas day, unless the government back flip into the isolation period, reducing to 5 days.
Absolute shat show but again we got lucky. Don’t know if I would even bother getting tested now as a close contact. My daughter has had a few sneezes but nothing more.
Good to spend some time with the family.
