The ultimate ESPN screw job:
This weekend I was watching the Memphis vs Texas A & M Sweet Sixteen match, it's turning into a classic, the teams are exchanging leads throughout the last ten minutes, it's going down to the wire, Texas (the underdogs) go up by one, Acie Law misses a layup with 47 seconds that would've iced it, Memphis down 64-63, and they get four straight scoring attempts because Texas can't grab the defensive board, Memphis call a timeout with three seconds left, and then the screwjob...
Of all times to cut to a commercial ESPN chooses now to hit it. When they clock back the first thing you see is a graphic that reads "FINAL: Memphis 65 Texas A&M 64!"
Whhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat! Honestly, I hate ESPN sometimes. I really do. Ruined my game for me. I had to watch slow motion replays of the final play about twenty minutes later to see what eventually happened. UGH! Screw you, ESPN!
