The media are all tears this morning about the 2 nags that died post race, yet the elephant in the room are the 15,000 failed race horses sent to slaughterhouses each year.

All of it. Connective tissue, bones + hoofs.

I don't think they do it anymore, however they do still make gelatine from animal collagen IIRC.

No surprise that I'm linked to all those failed racehorses. I haven't backed a winner since Vintage Crop in 1993.

yeh I know. My OP was in the middle of his 1st over. Maybe he has poor stamina.

he was pretty quick in the U19 World Cup earlier this year. He probably also worked out that bowling quicker was really the go in the circumstances.

The other day I test drove a Hyundai Santa Fe diesel. I must say I have never been more pleasantly surprised in a long time. Talk about bang for your buck. Never thought I would say this about a Korean car. They just need to get rid of that geniused H symbol. It looks dicky and a cheap imitation of the Honda symbol.

Anyone drive a Hyundai here?

2nd only to Toyota for quality to price. Their manuals occasionally have transmission issues
