Abbot with one t was the bowler and yes I hope he gets help.

Abbott with 2 t's needs help as well, but that's for another day.

What awful news, strength to his family and friends RIP

Only the loony left would make such an unfeeling comment Gronk, was hoping we wouldn't see an opportunity to do it, but only you and the Fairfax press. Mate, you sometimes need to rethink a smart ass post :(

Not even slightly amusing Gronk.
Give it a break.
Agreed, not the time or the place.

I work in the cricket industry, and know a few people who have met and dealt with Phil and they all told me the same thing. He's champion young bloke and no one has every hard a bad word about him. It's devastating truly devastating.

I appreciate where you are coming from, Delboy, but I really don't think Gronk was being disrespectful. All his other posts were respectful.
I've lost two brothers unexpectedly (at age 22 and age 36) as well as a best mate and a father. Maybe that makes you a little bit immune, but I think - even though these are sad and solemn occasions - it's still okay to have a bit of levity. Sometimes it keeps you sane.

RIP Phillip Hughes.
A tragic loss and gone way too soon.

Shouldnt forget sean abbott as well I played junior cricket with him at Baulkham Hills and one of the best blokes going around. He is also a massive parra fan as well so I encourage everyone to rally behind him as well.

No stopping Tyler atm, she is in some amazing form.

She is in the final against Carissa Moore.

If she wins its a surf off.

Don't defend what he said - it was a crap comment, sneaking in an agenda.

He knows it was too. I'm sure he feels slightly awkward about it, and is hoping we all just drop it. 99% good, let's let the awkward comment pass by.

She didn't win, Carissa Moore the Hawiian pipped her in the final which means Steff Wins her 6th World Title. Tyler just couldn't get the right waves and Carissa Moore knows the place like the back of her hand, its like surfing against Tyler at Lennox Head.

Congrats to Steff, being a local girl from Kingscliff, although the Queenslanders will no doubt try and claim her once again as a Gold Coaster.

Wally Lewis is the local Nein sports reporter and he referred to her as a Queenslander last night but they always try and claim the Tweed locals as Gold Coasters, they do the same with Mick Fanning who will hopefully win the mens title next week.
