Just watching the Bills-Chiefs game in 40, and every James Cook run is looking good, kind of surprising that he ends this game with only 13 carries. Saquon and the OL can get after these guys up front
Bills giving up on the run was criminal. It was coward coaching again. Quon is going to find the gaps for at least medium yardage at some point.

My favourite quote so far is that the game was closer than the score suggested and it was turnovers that blew it out

Err that's part of football! The turnovers aren't luck, they are manufactured by a ferocious defence.

Patriots homer Chris Brockman rolling back his predictions and pretending the Eagles were always his pick filled me with joy. Last week he was death riding us so Vrabel could go after AJ in a trade.

The patriots AJ Brown stuff on twitter the last few weeks has been extremely funny to me
The eagles have him signed up for the next 2-3 years in his prime, and they're in a SB window... his targets/yards are down this season because of how run heavy we are, but when the ball is passed, he's getting something like 30%+ of target share, and he's loved by the locker room, fan base and coaching staff, Sirianni has been effusive in his praise and defence of AJ to the media who have been begging him to the TO all year long and he's done nothing of the sort... there is ZERRRRRRRRRO chance we're trading him haha

Pats fans need to move on and hope Tee Higgins takes their money

Watching the game again and how f**king funny was the tush push offside stuff lol

I didn't know a "penalty touchdown" was a thing and apparently neither did most of the broadcasters and analysts.

I was PRAYING for one more offside so the officials could award a score
That would have been so f**king good

BEEEEGGEEEE!

So happy for him. And for us, he was playing lights out before the injury. I dont know how many snaps he'll play but im glad he's back. But even if its just 5-10 snaps, it's going to be enough to give Nolan, Sweat and maybe even Carter (given he can pass rush from the DT spot) a play or two off to keep the fresh for the 4th qtr

Jumping the gun here but have to talk about something in the off week before we win the SB...

I wonder how the fixture here will work scheduling wise, easy coast to Melbourne is the longest road trip anyone will ever have.

I'm thinking the following...

- home Thursday fixture the week before
- Sunday midday game AEDT which would be 9PM in Philly and 6 in LA on a Saturday night
- Bye the week after

Rams same except they play Sunday the week prior. West coast to here is a direct flight and 9 hours less travel including transit.

Yeah im not really sure how the scheduling will look. I think TNF double header for both teams into the Sydney game into the bye makes most sense... but its the NFL, they might just go Sunday to TNF, give each a very short week and say f**k it :D

Whatever it is, im going...

I've never had the opportunity to see the eagles play live. Or got to an NFL Game. i went to the sydney college games years ago and that was fun. But i got into the eagles when i was 18-19, and i was waaaaaaaaaay to poor to be able to afford a American sports trip, by the time i sorted my life out and had the sort of money that i could afford that trip, my wife and i were already head down on paying for a wedding, honeymoon and getting started on a mortgage and family, so i never got the opportunity then either

Ive got a big, very expensive America sports trip planned for when my kids move out of home, it's going to include at least 1 eagles game in philly, but also a ton of college football, and the iconic sports trips (Yankees, Knicks, Lakers) but until then this might be my only chance to see the team play in person

You'll have to tear me from the fabric of space and time to get me out of going to that game

Yeah no way I'm missing out on this either. I would have went regardless of the teams playing but given it's Philly there is not a chance I'm missing it.

I was in the states for work August of 2023 and got to a pre-season game between the commies and the Ravens which was fun but not the same. Me and one of my good mates who is a NYG fan always said we would get to a game in NYC one year which we will still do but probably a few years off once kids are older.

Hopefully it's a mid-late oct date so I'll be back from Germany.

Birds fan since the late 90's. I lived in the US for work with Boeing in 06 & 07 work put me in Baltimore for 6 months and I was able to choose Philadelphia for the last 18 months. So I've been to the Linc a few times. My record isn't great though.

First game was the OT loss to NYG in 06. Plaxico broke my heart. Hate that guy.
Second game beat GB at home 31-9. All I remember was the tailgate and McNabb scoring a couple of rushing TDs.
Third game the eagles lost to the Jags 13-3 or something. Jags scored a TD on the opening drive and then the teams traded FGs in the 4th Qtr from memory. It was really the beginning of the McNabb decline.

I went to a win at the old meadowlands in December of that year.

Year two was the 8-8 season and I was living out of the city in Haverton to save the commute. McNabb was poor and injured. Aj Feely took over. I did see wins against the Lions and Dolphins but losses to Dallas and I think Seattle (maybe buffalo). I probably went to more Villanova and Phillies games because they were cheaper (for beer and tickets) and I was working most weekends.

I'm sick of the news cycles for this game. Can the game just start already? The ESPN, Fox, CBS cycle is horrendous. Jason Kelce hopes his brother plays well, Taylor isn't really an eagles fan, Jalen didn't smile, Refs favour the Chiefs, Spags will stop Quon.....just end it!

Now Jon Gruden just picked the Chiefs so f**k him.
