Well the title defence is over but so too is the Kevin Patullo era.
We stay winning. As i think most eagles fans felt all year, the offence going to prolonged periods of sleep and being generally not very good has come back to bite them.

Better to get that over with early than late, because
1. it means Patullo has definitely gotta go, no late season surge to save him
2. The pick is better
3. We can get involved in any of these fired coaches who might want to come and be the OC

Its beneficial that this niners teams doesnt have a prayer of winning the SB, Purdy with two brutal ints that should have cost them the game. So it'll be nice to see them get shit canned by Seattle again next week.

Its hard to be too upset, the team never felt like they had it this year, and if i get too sad, the 40-6 SB rewatch can always cheer me on. Onwards to the off season, hopefully the OL can get healthy again and we see what the new OC has cooking.

Must hurt depleted 49ers walking into Philly and coming out victors?!

That's a fitting ending really and got what we deserved. At least Kevin Patullo shouldn't have a job by the time I wake up tomorrow morning.

The play calling was atrocious and anyone on in this sub-forum could have called a better game. I have no idea why, consistently, he changed things in the 2nd half after being successful in the 1st. Maybe he thought he was playing 4D chess that no one could keep up with? This 9ers team had 0 pass rush, yet he kept calling those 1st and 2nd down runs that resulted in minimal or lost yardage. Then, at the end of the game, when you're rolling and get to the 20 yard line, he calls 3 passes in a row when that is the time to call a run play to stay between the sticks and gas the defensive line. The lack of designed QB runs or Pass options was mystifying to me too.

AJ Brown can never whinge again either. He had 3 legit chances for huge plays and that last one he outright dropped. The other two were tough chances but he should be doing better.

Defensively, they were fine, a few too many chunk plays for my liking but that's the only chance the 9ers had, scrambling and letting plays develop. They came up with 2 turnovers which the offence did nothing with. The 9ers were able to maintain composure and empty the playbook because the offence didn't go to a double digit lead at any point which it absolutely should have so they were never under any pressure.

The positive is that even if we won this game, we were going to get got at some point but at least this way it should lead to change on OC and anyone with a base level of competence should be able to get points out of this offence.

Nope, not really
Have said all year the offensive infrastructure was a problem. And it was.

I saw my team and qb win the sb 40-6 last year. As a fan that shit can sustain me at least a few years

These are things you’ll never know or experience with Brock Purdy

Whatever you need to do Miss Havisham. Eagles play anti-football. Better for the league that they're done.

It must be a good feeling for you as a niners fan, eliminating the eagles is your SB.
You get to hang a banner this year! Exciting times for the fanbase that has to watch their SB wins on VHS

You will have to excuse him, he is a strange fellow.

No idea what he means by anti football? Maybe he dislikes Patullo as much as us or maybe he is still sooking about the tush push which Josh Allen used to win today and Purdy did twice lol.

Anyways, from here it's hard to not root for the Bills.

Denver, Pats and Chargers.... No thanks.

Houston would be good too and I could live with a Rodgers fairytale.

Seattle and Rams.... meh

Chicago would be a good story but I don't see it.

9ers... lol.... I will stick to realistic options.

Dull, unimaginative offense that everybody from Drew Brees said is brutal to watch. It's over now. Good day.

Still don't know how 9ers missing half their stars and with no defence beat eagles?!
Eagles..Fragile egos, fragile bodies, weak minds, weak spirit.

Your team is playing a play off game this week, and you're in here talking about the eagles like we're your SB.
