Admirable? Have missed 4 home games since I finished high school in 94. Up until 99 I attended almost every game by myself because none of my mate's wanted to go. For the 98 final against the Bulldogs I had my jaw busted the Wednesday before, lost 3 teeth, was barely coherant, souped up on drugs but still dragged myself to the SFS to watch the game by myself, despite protests from family and doctors.

Tragic? Blew off both my mate's 21st and my Dad's 50th to go to Parra games (as well as numerous other days but they were really the lowest acts....) Unfortunately I was conned into attending my sister's wedding instead of the trial game v Tigers earlier this year.

Admirable: In the mid to late 70's, I used to don all my Parra gear (scarf, beanie, flag, blanket, streamers etc....) and catch a bus from Dundas Valley to queue up outside Cumberland Oval to reserve my parents seats in the old Cumberland Grandstand.

Tragic. As above. Particularly the bit about the beanie and blanket.

Admirable - Fly to Aussie for 3 games a year and go up to Auckland for every Eels V Warriors game.

Tragic - Upstairs room 3 walls yellow 1 wall blue - for home games
Downstairs - 3 walls blue 1 wall yellow - for away games

Car - Blue with gold stripe

The front door of my house has the current eels logo in stained glass inserted (and if i say so myself, it looks bloody awesome)

Uncountable memorabilia including signed prints, jerseys and photos etc

My pizza shop is full of signed photo's of not the awful allblacks, but the mighty eels.

Oh :( my tragic list is far longer than admirable :(

Admirable: have travelled around the country by myself to watch them play; converted my brother from the Sharks (he was fanatical) and my 3-year old goes to the games regularly, boos every other team and even gives stick to the opposition supporters.

Tragic: instead of the tables at my wedding being numbered, they were named after Eels greats and even had their stats whilst playing at Parra (the bridal table was renamed the 'Sterling'). The MC even presented me with 2 signed shirts during the speeches.

Admirable: Again with my dad, entering enemy territory for every Parra home game at Belmore between 82 and 85, sitting at the back of the hill in our fold-up chairs. Saw some bloddy great footy!

Tragic: Didn't learn from the first time after getting pnuemonia from a road trip with my dad to away game against Canberra at Seiffert Oval. :( Still went back year after year in the late 80s and it was always fricking wet, freezing, and miserable, and there we were sat by the fence in raincoats under a dripping tarp. Oh and Parra almost always lost there (won 3 out of 7).

Admirable - Nah, I'm not even gonna attempt this one, I can't compare to any of you guys....not yet anyway! ;-)

Tragic on the other hand....well, I'm sure some of you might remember the Brad Drew/Ian Hindy story from a few seasons ago  #-o
I have scrapbooks full of articles, pics etc & a heap of interviews n stuff I have taped over the years & my room is basically a Parra shrine lol
