I have never seen this show. Yet I do recall Mike Gibson's column in the Telegraph on Monday, 3rd April 1995 - because it left me utterly gobsmacked. In it he said that Super League was the way to go, and if that meant that his beloved Bears had to die, so be it.

A real Bears supporter would have resigned on the spot. His credibility died that day. Therefore I find it incredulous that he use his Bears affections to bag Manly.

The merkins should have been stripped naked, tied to the figtree at NSO and burned alive.

well well well. The back page was going well tonight. Then Gibson threw in the words national game in relation to the afl, he said it quietly and i fancy he looked quilty about saying it.

AFL most probably is more national than NRL as it is now dominating the Gold Coast and Brisbane and isn't a second Sydney club on the way? The NRL isn't far behind with NZ doing so well as is all the one centre cities ...ala Newcastle, Canberra, Gold Coast, Townsville etc. I say put the 2 new teams in NRL heartland and stuff areas like Adelaide and Perth. They are really AFL mad. Look at Melbourne. The NRL had to nurture the team and make them so successful from the start to build a Victorian NRL base. They still have feeder club links with Qld and it would just be so much easier to boost up in the areas which definitely love NRL rather than travel thousands of k's over to Perth especially with the economy the way it is.

I dont mind Craddock, havent really had a major disagreement with anything he has said when i have watched. What irks me is the content of the show and whoever sets it must be a deadset victorian or just dislikes league.
