People are aware they have every AFL game now so it will become the number 1 game as far as foxsports media is concerned.

I have mentioned this numerous times in other threads. Unless, like the AFL, Fox gets the rights to broadcast all NRL matches live in the next tv deal (which is highly unlikely), AFL will always get precedence over NRL. People should not be surprised about Fox plugging the AFL ad nauseum (especially the revamped Fox Footy channel), as they spent craploads of money on AFL and will want to definitely get their moneys worth.

As much as craddock and that other clown are mega-douches... to be fair I dont think there was really much newsworthy league stuff happening. Sure the wcc.. but that doesn't have much to do with anyone but the manly supporters (and even then...). Nothing great happened in the trials really (i mean they are trials ffs) and theres no games coming up this week.

If the show was on tonight the whole macintyre thing would probably have outdone the ponting debacle and been number one story.

Still, I agree with the majority that the backpage is pretty poor and needs a few wiser heads (if they exist in australian sports media).
