I laugh at some here who think Tallis would take a beating in the ring. The Broncos have tripple Australian Heavyweight champion Mark Burgess as one of their conditioners and he rates Gordon Tallis as a boxer.

LOL, hugely different. In just one album (White Album) the Beatles showed more diversity that Korn have in their whole career.

What the hell?

I have never said that... Where did you pull that from? Tallis?

But anyway.. To say korn produce the same sounding stuff in all their albums is stupid.. every album is different.. Probably why sales dropped off with issues and untouchables as those 2 sounded completely different to their usual stuff.

lol, I wrote that, it must have been my last CTRL+C and I copied that instead of your quote. Anyway you know what you said 8) .

You could've fooled me on Korn producing different material, I've got about 60 of their songs on my playlist and I might as well just put the first one on loop over and over again. They remind me a bit of The Doors even though they're not in the same league. While I love The Doors, they've got quite a few songs that aren't very different from each other.

Well there is a definate difference in the albums..

You may not notice it with individual songs.

But if you listen to their self titled album, then chucked on untouchables there is a huge difference..

FWIW, to me, most beatles songs sound the same.. Even when i had to sing some of their songs in german in school they sounded the same..

True. Their first album is a a class piece of work, fresh and original with a lot of creativity. Untouchables is trash, Korn have just given up and are making music that fits in neatly with the rest of the nu metal genre.

So Korn gets a couple of triple platinum albums and a couple of double platinum albums and suddenly they're in the top 10 of all time?

What about the bands with albums that have gone 28 times platinum? 27? f**k.. even Kid Rock managed to get an album that went 10 times platinum.

^ exactly. I have not heard any one of a respectable status say Korn are one of the greatest ever. Their main shining light IMO is that are kind of a pathways band for kids to get into better metal, if they so choose. How old are you CH? I know a lot of people still hold a soft spot for Korn because they were influential when they were just getting into music but to say they're one of the greats, top 5 in fact, is ridiculous.

I think the 82%-18% speaks for itself.

Korn will go down as one of the most successful rock bands ever.. They would probably rank top 10 maybe top 5 of all time.

You've just lost whatever credibility you had to begin with.

im 20 i got my first korn album when i was about 13 or 14. The first metal band i ever got into..

The 82%-18% dosnt mean squat.. Comparing korn to the beatles is just stupid.. Of course the beatles would win

How many people have heard of Korn?

And how many people have heard of the The Beatles?

Sorry, no contest. Beatles win hands down.

I think this is the first time I've voted for the older band when it's been a new vs old contest. I don't really like either (although I would pick Korn if I had to listen to one) but when it comes down to it the Beatles are leagues ahead.
