The best thing about the head signing

Will allow farah and marshall more time to do their thing. Having attacking options creates doubt in the oppossions mind and farah and marshall can't be easily identified and picked off as our only attacking options by the defending side. Watch for Farah and Marshall to become dangerous with more room to move

Was damn embarrassing watching Morris trying to impersonate Prince with his sho n go's, we got a real half who can be himself

I think having a halfback with direction will make all the difference to the Tigers, all Benji needed is someone to create and tell him where to go then his natural talent will take over.... im getting excited for 08 now !

If Head stays fit we have a gem ... a natural footballer and a natural halfback with a great short and long kicking game
Hodgo
Benji
Head
Farah
would be the best 1,6,7,9 in the comp perhaps apart from melb

This is the first time some WTF members have had the privilege of head.

An important milestone in their life.

i wouldn't get that carried away.

Brisbane, Melbourne, Cowboys would be better without much doubt I would reckon.

Only Melbourne IMO....

the other teams have a weak spot.

Our 1,6,7,9 is very nice.

I rate it allover number 2.

We are miles better off than a month ago when mr doom (myself) had as penciled on for the spoon. Well things look a lot better now but realisticly I still see us comming around the bottom of the eight at best. Although with a little luck, some agro, some starch in the defence and the old tiger spirit anything is possible. My big worry is Hogo at the back,a year older a year slower. A full off season may prove me wrong

Don't worry, we'll find a spot for Morris at the back if Hodgo's not up for it...

Gibbs, Harrison, Payten and Galloway are the ones that need to fire up in 08. You could have the best backline in the world but it means nothing if you're in your own half for most of the game. Gibbs and Galloway are the ones that need to come into their own in 08.

Too True, if we can get some mongrel and go forward into Payten, Gibbs and Galloway we will have a solid team for 2008......

The tigers are a new look team compated to the premiership team.....its sad to see how many of the premiership players are gone

Richards
Whatiura
Elford
Fitzhenry
Prince
Laffranchi
Skandalis
Galea
O'Neill

9 out of the 17 are gone

Hodgo Hodgo = same (even though he isn't playing as well)
Fitzy TNT = no contest
Collis Elford = collis
Fatz ??? = Fatz
Patty Lawrence = patty but Lawrence has it within him to be a megastar
Benji Benji = same
Prince Head = Prince but if Head gets over his injuries he can be almost the equal of Prince

So although a lot have gone we aren't in as bad shape out wide as it would appear on first glance.

I don't know about all the Gibbs bagging. I thought he really came on last yr and showed some real glimpses of becoming a top shelf prop. Also he is very very very fit (remember he won a lot of the x country time trials the tigers did a season or 2 back) and the drop in interchange is going to bring players like gibbs into his own and make the likes of Fui a bit of a luxury

Never rated Gibbs. Hope he proves me wrong.

If we can keep everyone on the field there is no excuses for not finishing in the top 6.

maybe youngquest will be the one taking whatuiras place in the centres mothy and i think people are disapointed with gibbs because of his lack of discipline he shows on the field at times
