Danny Buderus even at this stage of his career is a better hooker than what we currently have - he is also a player who others look to as a leader and that alone would make him invaluable to this current side. Add to that the service he could give our halves not to mention the fact that his long term halfback and mate would be coaching them - he'd be worth the money.
The plus side would also be that twelve months working with the likes of Matt Keating and Anthony Mitchell would make the acquisition even better in terms of development of those players.
Losing Hayne or Inu, while not necessarily desirable, would be off set through the development of our halves and hookers.
