But this Superman is not Superman. People that criticise these movies and DC's direction have to take some blame for that. Here's my reasoning, keeping it short.

We had a traditional Superman, one not so dark and gloomy. Superman Returns. I thought that was very true to the original movies and the true essence of Superman. He wasn't brooding, Metropolis wasn't half destroyed, he was pure hearted. It was what Superman was supposed to be. And how did pretty much everyone react? Oh that's right, it was boring. He was bland and boring.

Well here you are you f**kers. You don't like the Reeves/Routh versions of Superman any more? Well here, try Man of Steel. We'll load it with a shit tonne of explosions, CGI and some darkness as it worked in the Dark Knight series.

f**k people, f**k Hollywood, and f**k DC/Warner Bros for not having the balls to stick to your ideas and giving in to what stupid people want.

I loved Superman Returns...Actually I prefer it to Man of Steel.
I would have loved to see Tim Burton's version of Superman.

Loved the trailer. Only thing that put me off a little about spidey was the moving eyes, maybe it just caught me by surprise. I'm sure I'll get used to it and enjoy it.

Spiderman looks like he's CGI..

And going by these trailers, it looks like Marvel are doing a no jokes rule..

Probably was CGI since they've animated the eyes. Tom Holland is a trained dancer and acrobat, so will be doing some of the stunts, but obviously theres gonna be stuff where CGI will be required.

And considering Winter Soldier was an espionage film, it's hardly surprising that this one follows in a similarly serious tone. Paul Rudd is there for comic relief, but by and large this will be a serious film.

Which suggests when all is said and done that this movie will probably outdo every marvel so far at the box offixe as spiderman is box office gold
