Don't mean to be rude or nothing here Outlaw..

Not at all mate.
..but the questions are supposed to be from the last 15 years or have I missed something as I hadn't checked this thread for a while?

You are absolutely correct El Duque. I never did read the opening post in its entirety. Sorry mate. My bad. :)
Just on that rule quickly. I think it's pretty ordinary. I mean, let's have a real quix and make it open to ALL Cricket questions. With todays sporting history books, internet search engines and what not readily available, finding the correct answer for any question on Cricket should be not toodifficult a task. I think questions on ALL Cricket topics would make this thread more diverse and fun. I believe that, that is one of the predominant reasons why Willow'sThe Footy Quiz thread has been so popular. Just a suggestion to the game show host Roopy to consider. No ill feelings from this end if it remains the same. I'll be happy to stick to current rules if need be. Cheers...

My answer to the latest question is: Glen McGrath

The Aussie batsmen who was the last didmissed by the very first ball bowled in a test match is now a ccommentator. I have heard him bring up his stat at the start of a test match when Aus bat first.

I don't want to sound like i'm criticizing the 'footy quiz' thread, because that is obviously a very popular thread with many of our members, butI found I had completely stopped looking at it after a while because the questions all seemed to be about games and players I had never heard of and I just lost interest in having a look.
Maybe the best way to put this is that I wanted to keep this thread interesting for 'casual' cricket lovers while still allowing people with a more substantial knowledge base to participate. I often read this thread just to pick up interesting facts about people and games I can remember now, and although I've never been good at the 'quiz' thing, this thread is still of interest to me.

I hope that gets me out of trouble over the limit thing. Overall, I think the limit has improved the thread for everyone except a few really dedicated history buffs. Just my opinion of course.

No mate it wasn't Taylor. Taylor was the last Australian to make a pair in 1994 and Border did it in1992. The last Captainto make a pair is not Australian.
